White HousePress Secretary Robert Gibbs says the vaccine is not available to them based on their risk.FACT: The "risks" for the Obama girls were not specified, but one of thedaughters is said to have asthma. Asthma is NOT an acceptablecontraindication for medical exemptions in most state vaccine requirementsfor attending school.FACT: Early in October, the first batches of the vaccine were given tostudents at only a couple of NYC's public schools, to see if it was safeenough. No students attending the elite private school where Obama'schildren attend were "bestowed" this honor.FACT: Mayor Bloomberg is currently making H1N1 vaccination available toover a million students in NYC. Except for allergies to egg, there are nocontraindication warnings listed on the parent consent forms.FACT: Thousands of workers in NYS had been required to get the H1N1 andseasonal flu vaccines, or else face termination.
