Guest guest
Dear Friends, At the cost of repeating I will focus on the following points; 1. Nutrition is not about availability of food, it is also about the power to digest and assimilate it. A good digestive system will allow a child to grow with natural food (after six months) 2. If children are being born weak and there is talk about nutrition then we must first try to know why infants are struggling with their health. 3. What is the quality of mothers milk? The infant may not be able to digest just that if the milk is toxic, which it is. (500+ toxins in mothers milk reported by toxics link) 4. When a child eats but does not grow in proportion it may be a case of marasmus. Marasmus may not improve with nutrition alone, it does not rather. 5. Even emotions will effect the quality of mothers milk. I once saw an angry tribal woman trying to feed her child but the child simply refused to take the milk. An elderly lady then asked the mother to be with her child a little more time before feeding it. There may be tension in the household or sour relationship between the couple (for having a girld child?) 6. There may be intolerance to milk and the child may vomit the milk or curd like substance. The child may also have colic after breastfeeding. 7. What about the feeding habit of the mother while breastfeeding? Is she getting enough of traditional food. 8. In todays setting we have to deal case by case, bunching will not suffice. This is why trained ASHA workers are needed. I wish ASHA workers went to mothers with love in their hearts rather than toxic vaccines in their boxes. 9. Are there traditional practices, herbs to increase quality of breast milk. 10. At the risk of again getting a bunch of angry mails I will still request that epidemologists study homeopathy to know about the problem and aftermath of bad quality milk and the baby not getting enough from breast milk. 11. How do we detoxify both breast milk and the placental fluid? Can we get tests done with quick results? 12. Reductionism will not work here, all problems must be recognised, stated and holistically studied. 13. Vaccines mess with the childs digestive, assimilative and eliminative functions. 14. Endemic poverty affects the health of the entire group. Regarding the HPV vaccine educating the public is more important. The IAP members are trigger happy persons. They will not listen to even the health minister. Even if Lord Jagannath appeals to them they will turn their face away. Do they restrict their vaccines to the government approved ones? Their yearly jaunts are financed by the vaccine companies. Forgive me for always taking the side of the patients. Regards, Jagannath. 8. Keep up with people you care about with India Mail. Learn how.
