Rajdhani Expresses unsafe too? Pl. Read on

What can happen to you even in Rajdhani Express can just be imagined after reading the forwarded note? I am personally awaiting the outcome of FIR and this letter to Railway authorities ---------- Forwarded message ----------

I Keshav jha 66 along with my wife Pratima jha 62 boarded the train as refered above on 22/07/09 at 1720 hrs. in Ranchi in a way to meet my

 

 

family at sheffield / uk. At about 2030 hrs. we were served dinners with loose curds whose taste was unpleasant,within mts. we slept like dead

men/senseless and our two big suite cases were stollen from the under space of my wife`s berth., we could awake only at 0630 hrs.23/07 after

Kanpur, aproaching New delhi.The train reached New delhi Rly stn. at about 1100 hrs. 23/07/09.and we found that both of our suite cases had

been stollen. on asking the concerned waiter and the care taker of the compartment they behaved very rudely and put off the light within 3 to 4 mts. during the discussion, which is itself very unnatural at the stn.We then analysed their suspecious behavior of serving curds during last night

peculear pick and choose method of serving make to understand us that, they had mixed up some intoxicating thing / sleeping pills etc. in that.

We were shocked badly because our whole things like some valuables, clothes,money, Air Tickets along with even the PASSPORTS ,all

had gone.Our agony can be imagined, but can it happen without the connivance / concpiracy of the contracter ,rail emloyee and the police ! We

passangers are supposed to be assured for the safe and pleasant journey in a prestigious class like this.

Any way after informing the concerned police I/c of the plateform we lodged the FIR in railway police at plateform no. 1 new delhi stn.(vide

FIR no. 0275/09 dt.23/07/09.) and left the place to face other more formalities ahead to get fresh passports & visas and the new air tickets.

In the mean time, by the grace of god , on 26/07/09 1000 hrs. one my freind at BOKARO STEEL CITY after getting a call from JHANCI JN. railway stn.informed me at delhi that, one of my suite cases along with the passport had been located in jhanci jn. rail stn.( the passports

were having bokaro steel city addresses when i was serving in Bokaro Steel Plant 10 yrs. back).Immediately we approached the concerned man at Jhanci Parcel office and decided to reach there.

On 27/07/09 I got one of my suite cases with the passports (boon for us) from jhanci parcel office without costly valuables.It had been brought to our knowledge that the suite case had been deposited there by rail police who had got it from the railway track on 24/07/09.

Any way by rearranging our journey to sheffield by flight VS 331we reached here on 1/08/09 and met our family,thanks God.

At the same time I like to request you that concidering our mental harrasment, heavy economical loss, and the agony it should not happen with any body else in future.

Necessary action may pl. be taken with the concerned catering staff who served dinner to us there, we are sure they are the only culprits,rail police man may be in connivance with them.
