Guest guest
I think it was here that someone posted what stones they put together for their daughter while she was attending school. If my memory serves me right (which is often does not) I believe it was an accounting course. anyway....I am now studying nutrition and would like some energy resonating to help me along. Ain't no fun at 54 learning when you don't have the free time of a youngster. Thanks if anyone remembers the blend! I would greatly apprecite it. Guest guest
I would use sodalight, and tourmaline (I like a mixed rainbow of colors in a necklace), garnet for stress, or rose quartz to calm. I also wore prehnite when I went to classes. In addition to these I utilized a rosemary lemon blend for memory, I could tell you my mix if you want to add that route as well. -- Have a Happy and Keep Smiling TTFN Angelina Thelin
Guest guest
If I remember, I will ask my wife what stones she has for her schooling. And not all " youngsters " have free time. I have 2 boys. A 2 year old and a 8 month old. I am the only one working. I am a graphic designer and IT guy at my job. My wife stays at home at takes care of the kids. When I get home we have dinner and play with the kids so they don't try to tear the house down. Then she does her online schooling. Shes getting a bachelors in business management and marketing. I am watching the kids while she is doing that. And I am also a musician. That taxes a lot of time too. BUT in the end, it's all worth it. I wouldn't trade my family in for anything. Guest guest
Ok I am back with the list of stones that my wife is using to get her bachelors. Carnelian - stone of stabalizing Tiger's Eye - stone of focus Yellow Calcite - stone of will power Blue Apatite - stone of inspiration, it increases motivation, builds energy, stimulates creativity and the intelect. Howlite - stone of calmness, soothes overactive minds. A rested mind is needed for good school work. Agree? Hope this list helps you out some. Guest guest
Rick, Thanks for your help. I cracked up when I read your reply. I want to let you in on a little secret...Once you have a family you don't have a " young " lifestyle anymore kiddo. What I meant by young and free time is going to school full time, living at home, and working a PT job for mad money and small expensives. If you are married with children it does not matter what your age is, the single/free life is over and you have a lot more obligation of your time. It's not a bad thing, it just sometimes makes schooling a wee bit more challenging. For instance, since my 11 year old is classified I need to spend a lot of time with him and his homework, I can't possibly tie up too much time on me. At least not for a few more years. But that's OK, I can wait. When I was single I could study for 2 days straight every weekend. You know that is NOT a possibility today with three children, running a business, looking a bit after my elderly parents, and let's not forget my poor husband. The laundry and cooking puts the kabosh on that alone! By the way Rick....I think you are pretty awesome supporting your wife like that. You must be one GREAT guy. Some men would never think to drop the remote and give their wives a chance to study. I just wanted to tell you how admirable you are. Once you get the dish on the stones thanks to let me know. And I think that was one of the stones, Tiger's eye. Thanks, Lorain , " Traci and Richard " <tracispoopy wrote: > > If I remember, I will ask my wife what stones she has for her > schooling. Guest guest
Hey, don't forget Fluorite! I think it is the best, as it encompasses all the traits we need to learn. It is also the stone of genius. :-) Maria
Guest guest
I just had to reply to this.. I have 3 boys (8,3,7months) and my husband is about to start school (graphic design, MA in fine arts). I thought it was funny how similar our stories are. I work also, nurse my 7 month old and cook every meal from scratch! I am stressing about how much more I will be taking on when he starts school. It's nice to know others are doing well even though things can get crazy! My husband and I have no time for us. We have been out alone maybe 4 or 5 times in 3 years. No family to help and we can't afford childcare. With that being said, this degree is necessary! We will have our time one day. But as you said, Rick..We would not change it for anything!! Take care and good luck!!! Stacey --- rlrap <TheKoolLottes wrote: > Rick, > > Thanks for your help. I cracked up when I read your > reply.
