Guest guest
Doug- ITM has some interesting research on this. itmonline.org allows your to become a member of their start group which has articles on this. Plus, in the back of his Chinese Herbology Manual he has a section on fertility. I am doing some research on this topic myself, so email me if you need more info. Guest guest
It is wise to be married before you have a child. But i just wanted to warn you that if you do have a baby, PCos often causes moms to not be able to make enough milk to fully breastfeed their babies. I can give you more info if you e-mail me privately. hope

Guest guest
Dear Deb, The Wild Yam acts as a form of birth control (the old American Indians used this a birth control), but it also has this wild effect of making a woman hyperfertile once she comes off of it. First it acts as birth control, but in the process also balances the hormones into peak. Once a woman comes off of it, the hyperfertility is almost instant. I have only worked with two women in this manner, but both became preggers immediately after stopping, and caried to term. Taking the Total Nutrition Formula will help with improving Thyroid function, overall health, and weight loss, but some major cleansing sounds as if it is in order. You most assuredly should be on the Panther Piss Formula as well. Let us know if the above works for you. In health and love, Doc Doc Shillington727-447-5282Doc - mckdlee herbal remedies Tuesday, August 30, 2005 8:53 AM Herbal Remedies - fertility Doc,I read your post that said to take Wild Yam for a few months and then quit and you'd be fertile. How does that work? My husband had a vasectomy reversal in 1994, I finally conceived and then miscarried in 2000 and started using progesterone cream. I read a booklet a few years later that talked about using Wild Yam forbirth control! So I quit using the cream, actually I just use itonce in a while. I am overweight, need to remove 3 more amalgam fillings, do more detoxing and cleansings, and we want to have more children before it's too late. I'm 42. I came out of a fog a year and a half ago and figured out that I hadn't been the same since themiscarriage, I think the grief and stress affected mythyroid (Wilson's Thyroid Syndrome)and it certainly affected my weight! I didn't have the money to seek treatment, so I've been working on different fastings and cleansings, nutritional changes, etc., on my own. I also had two crowns put in and another amalgam filling redone in 2002, I didn't understand much about mercury toxicity at the time and the weight gain has mainly happened since then. Can you give me any advice? Debbie in TX

Guest guest
Aloha Silverlady. . .we do a booth with crystals and minerals. One entire table is heartshaped stones. We are often asked which ones assist with increasing fertility. Rose Quartz is the one most often recommended in all literature I have seen. A young couple spent quite a bit of time last year selecting one the felt resonated with their needs. A few weeks ago they came back to say thanks with their new offspring, a beautiful little boy. Another stone I've seen mentioned is Peach Aventurine, so including either of those may be helpful. As always intuition is your best guide. Guest guest
Hi SilverLady, My favorite stones for pregnancy include garnet: the newborn child will have the highest levels of iron (rich in red garnets) ever in their entire life at birth...and according to anthroposophy the incarnating soul is pulled in through the gravitational planes by anchoring with iron. I like Rose Quartz for the nurturing energy, also a ligh iron content that gives the stone its rosey color and stands mid-chakra between the red rays of the earth and with white light of spirit, and Jade...which is commonly used in the orient, because it's high aluminum content creates a bridge to the heart from both worlds...heaven and earth. Guest guest
Silver Lady- > I hope to become pregnant and would very much appriciate any advise on how to use crystals to assist me . > Some stone spirits that may offer some support include: * Cave Pearls - Cave Pearls, though rare, are amazing in every way. Formed in pools of water, deep in the belly of a Cave, these spirits, a mix of Calcite and Aragonite, support pregnancy, childbirth and child rearing in all ways. These Earth Elders are also closely connected to some wise and powerful spirits - the ancient Mothers - who can teach and guide and guard both Mother and Child. The spirits of Cave Pearls know the mysteries of the womb, of the amniotic fluid itself, or nurturing a baby through the nine months of initiation that precede birth. These Elders also have a great deal to share with Mothers, helping them to remember that they, themselves, are initiates in an ancient tradition of bringing life into being, of being vessels of Creation. * Enhydro Quartz - Enhydro Quartz - that is, Quartz that contains natural inclusions of water - reflect the wombspace, both physically and spiritually. These Earth Elders help the Mother to prepare herself emotionally, while also slowly and gently preparing her body in a spiritual sense. The Enhydro Quartz Elders also remind us of our connection to the Earth Mother, the Mother of us all, and, in that way, they encourage all potential Mothers to seek the support and guidance of the Earth, to make a connection with her, which offers medicine that nurtures both fertility and strength. * Hematite - The Hematite Elders are strongly connected to the Earth and to our Ancestors. Indigenous wisdom teaches us that we are all here because of our Ancestors. We literally stand on their shoulders. The spirits of Hematite remind us to remember our Ancestors, to seek their help when we seek to get pregnant, through prayers and offerings. We emerged from the body and spirits of our Ancestors, and because of their closeness to us, our Ancestors have a direct interest in the continuation of our lineage. The spirits of Hematite help us to both remember and connect to our Ancestors for support. * Geodes - The spirits of Geodes share close ties to the womb. More specifically, they embody medicine that speaks of preparing the womb, of " getting the space ready " to conceive. Holding these spirits to one's belly, at the navel area, while praying for help in all ways, including help conceiving, can offer some strong spiritual support for a Mother-to-Be. * Cowrie Shell - Though not a stone spirit, the Cowrie Shell Elders are revered around the world, in many indigenous traditions, as reflections of the Divine Feminine, the power and presence of the Mother. The spirits of Cowrie Shell embody the feminine mysteries, which naturally includes conception, pregnancy and childbirth. These spirits protect both Mother and Baby, while making the spirit of the Mother more receptive to receiving a child. * Carnelian - The spirits of Carnelian shared a vision with me once, regarding how their medicine can support pregnancy. They showed the belly of a woman eager to get pregnant. It was initially dark, like a room with no lights. As the spirits of Carnelian approached, the room began to fill with a gentle golden light. The space was welcoming, warm and inviting. These Earth Elders help to " turn on the light of the womb " , so that the Baby will see this light, and be drawn to it, which is another way of speaking about conception itself. * Faden Quartz - The spirits of Faden Quartz help to open a road in the spirit world to connect you, as Mother, with the soul of your child. This connection begins the dance of bridging, which ultimately expresses itself physically through pregnancy. The " thread " inside the body of the Faden Quartz reflects the thread of life that connects Mother and Baby together, via the umbilical cord. * Rose Quartz - Ultimately, conceiving, giving birth and raising a child is a profound act of Love. The spirits of Rose Quartz remind us that whenever we're in doubt, return to Love. When we're unsure what to do, or how to respond, or even how to teach and raise our children, choose Love. Love is the answer to every question we have ever asked, and in every moment there are only two choices - Love or fear. The Rose Quartz Elders remind us to choose Love with each breath. I hope the above is helpful to you in some way. Good thoughts for you and your hopes to become pregnant.
