Guest guest
If you do a search under cats and TCM on google, there are a couple of veterinary institutes who may be able to put you in touch with someone. I know of a lady who successfully treated her pregnant horse for a huge malignant tumour with a formula made up by a chap called: Arno at Horse Sense Herbs in Alberta www.horsesenseherbs.ca He may do other animals, and work from a distance if you cannot find a vet practitioner near to you. Guest guest
Hi Teresa, So sorry to hear about your kitty. You might want to look for an holistic vet locally. It would be good to find one that does acupuncture/herbs but you might also accept one that does homeopathics. Sometimes, they can even pres- cribe remedies from a distance. Our local holi-vets have had success stories with cancer. Unfortunately, these tumors may be from vaccination sites...it is not uncommon for tumors to show up at these sites. You might want to join the RawCats list at . They have some very knowledgeable members and moderators Healing often calls for a dietary change, as well. All the best, Kit At 10:32 PM 12/16/02 -0500, you wrote: > > Hi Everyone, > > This is my first message, does anyone know of chinese healing for cats; my > dear cat Elvis has two tumours on the side of his neck; the vet says > palliative care is all I can hope for. > > Thanks. > > teresa
Guest guest
PS. If these tumours are at the injection site, you can do a search for Injection Site Fibrosarcoma or Feline Fibrosarcoma. If you have no luck with alternatives you can take a look at this case report. Guest guest
Hi Teresa, I'm still kinda new with working with crystals in general..but I'm also a Reiki 2 Healer..and have a book on crystals..I don't know of any good books on crystal healing for animals but I'm sure there are some out there..I've found that the crystals used for people for certain ailments can be used for animals..Any quartz such as rose quartz etc is a good starter and general healing stone..You can also search online and print out pictures of where the chakras are located on the animals..ie..horse..dog..cat..usually they are located and run down the spine..When I've given reiki treatments to cats and dogs..I either hold the crystals in my hand and either place my hand palm up or palm down holding the crystal in place with my thumb over the chakras.. Also you can place the crystal on the animal and either hold it in place in the area for healing or where the chakra is..If you could also learn Reiki 1 that would be a benefit with the crystals. I've found the combination of Reiki and crystals works well..Hope this helps some..Good luck..Susan

**************
Planning your summer road trip? Guest guest
hi teresa, try these, the author ref is at the bottom of the page, very well known horse healing in the uk, has several books out, most are available on ebay, 3 or 4 specifically for horses, and art least 1 on animals in general, small pouches may be attatched to rugs or make a grid in the stable, hope this helps, i also have the healing and chakra points of the horse lurking somewhere around here How to use the stones You can carry a small one in your pocket when you are riding or working with the horse or wear one around your neck. I have found the best ones to wear are amethyst, rose quartz and amber. Amethyst is the stone with the stronge st overall healing energy and is good to use for chakra healing with convalescing horses or depleted horses. It is also a good stone to wear for the owner who is run down or in low spirits. If there is a shelf or ledge in the stable I have often placed a stone or two securely on it. Also when you are giving healing over the chakras you can hold a small stone in your hand to enhance the benefits. Cleanse all stones first by leaving them under a running cold tap for ten minutes and then leave in natural day light to dry – it is even better if you can leave them under a full moon for a night. Every fortnight you need to re-cleanse the stones to wash out negative energy. Healing qualities of stones for use with horse * Agate: for strength of purpose and joie de vivre. Useful for depressed and sad horses, barren mares, brood mares and stud stallions. * Alexandrite: helps wounds and injuries to heal and tissues to regenerate. Use for injuries and also for bereavement, loss of companions, life’s changes, etc. * Amber: my favourite as it is native to my ancestors’ homeland, in Prussia. A powerful stone (actually it’s a resin), it is good for energising, balancing and healing. Use for depressed or tense horses and those with emotional problems. Good for mares in season and stallions as it links with the reproductive organs. * Amethyst: promotes healing and links with the higher consciousness. It is a stone for protection as it helps disperse negative energy. * Aquamarine: fears and phobias. Use for healing with nervous horses. * Azurite: linked to the sir. Use for COPD, allergies, breathing problems and sinusitis. * Bloodstone: cleansing and purifying. Use for liver problems and post-viral syndrome. Also good for competition horses. * Blue fluorite: for protection. Use for shielding your horse from negative energy. * Carnelian: strengthens the horse’s link to natural spiritual elements. Useful for depressed horses and those in shock. Use over the brachial major chakra. * Celestite: promotes vitality. A balancing stone, use it over the crown chakra. * Citrine: for clarity, for treating the solar plexus. Also use over the sacral area for digestive problems and colicky horses. * Diamond: for perfection. Use to balance the horse. * Emerald: for wisdom, loyalty and trust. Use if you need to build up a bond with the horse. * Garnet: see alexandrite. * Jade: linked to the life force, it helps the heart energy and general vitality. * Jasper: for empowerment. Use for balancing the whole body over the sacral chakra. * Lapis lazuli: for expression, it is linked to hearing as well. Useful for lack of confidence or nervous horses. * Moonstone: for inner feelings. A stone to use to help develop friendship with the horse. * Onyx: for stamina. Use with post viral conditions, low immune system, and poor doers. * Pearl: aids serenity and purification of thought. It is one to use for blessing your horse with peace. * Rose quartz: the universal healing and clearing stone. Can be used over any chakra for bringing peace and tranquillity to the horse and for balancing. It is especially good for healing problems relating to geopathic conditions. * Ruby: revitalises. Use after as difficult foaling, for both mare and foal. * Sapphire: for communication at all levels. Use over throat chakra. * Smoky quartz: for calmness and grounding. It is helpful for panic and shock so use for highly-strung equines and in first aid. * Snowflake obsidian: to strengthen in times of change. It is a stone that relates to the cycle of life and death (and rebirth). A good stone to use for the very sick horse, also those with low immune systems. * Snowy quartz: for loneliness or resentment. For troubled equines or those kept away from other horses. Also during box rest for injury or illness. * Tiger’s eye: creativity. Use for nervous and working horses, especially before a show or competition. * Topaz: a fertility stone. Use with barren mares, or mares to be mated. * Tourmaline: aids compassion and tolerance. Helpful for the horse after a loss, bereavement or other trauma. * Turquoise: relates to mind-body communication. It is another stone to use to help strengthen your bond with the horse. * White fluorite: to strengthen the spirit of the horse. Use for any equine with history of bad treatment. * White tourmaline: for spiritual enlightenment. Use to help promote a sense of well being at the deepest level. Always remember that these treatments do not replace conventional medical treatment but can rather be used to enhance the treatment the horse is already getting from your vet.
