I joined a couple of weeks ago and have found everything in this group very interesting. I did my second level reiki two years ago and during my training my master showed us how to use crystals alongside the reiki I have always loved crystals and I also did a diploma in crystal healing which has led to me avidly reading everything I can find to learn more! One thing I wanted to ask you all is about your methods of using the crystals during a healing session. A friend of mine (who I have lost touch with for now) did a long intensive course and she gave me a healing in exchange for a massage. The interesting thing about her methods was that the 'patient' sits in a chair and many different patterns and layouts are arranged on the floor around the chair. I haven't found any books that talk about this way of using the crystals and wondered if any of you know more about this or can recommend any books about it. I am thirsty for knowledge!!! Thankyou very much and I shall enjoy being with this group learning lots of new things and being in your very lively company!LOL! I am doing a distance diploma in crystals and done a ten week course, I am no expert but yes I have heard of people sitting in a chair. As you probably know there are many ways to work with crystals. I can reccommend a book called Crystal Doorways by Sue and Simon Lilly- it's not about using chairs but something really different- energy nets.
