Hi!

I've been on the forum for about a week now, and wanted to say a

quick hello. I love the amount of information that is shared here—and

I hope to learn a lot and contribute what I can!

I'm a Traditional student, and have been interested

and involved in alternative healing, holistic nutrition and

complementary therapies for some time. I'm interested in learning more

about crystals and seeing for myself some of the correlations between

crystal therapies, my TCM training, and other alternative modalities.

There are so many wonderful healing methods out there!

Blessings to everyone,

Lani.

Hi! Welcome! That is itnersting that you are studying alternative

Traditional Chinese medicin. I am always into learning more about

Holistic studies, and always turn to herbs when sick.... (besides,

there are almost no side effects when healing through more natural

methods).

Yes this is an amazing group, and I lhave learned a lot from all the

information shared here!

WOW Lani.

It's nice to finaly find another person who uses TCM. As I'm sure

you've noticed by my ID, I practice chi gung. So, anything

more I can learn about TCM would be very helpful to me as well as

learning other methods of energy healing. I'm convinced crystal

healing goes hand in hand with any other type of natural, holeistic

or energy healing.

I've been working on a theory of my own and maybe you could help me.

I think the colors of diferent crystals can be used in conjunction

with the colors of the " five elements " (wu xing). I've read that the

colors are used with the corisponding chakras. Why not the TCM theory?

Well, Lani I hope you enjoy the group. I know I do :)

Take care

Thanks for all the warm welcomes!

I've been enjoying the long weekend and have been happily full of

food and company the past two days, and taking a break from the

computer.

Ray, good point. There seems to be a lot of correlations, and I have

not explored all the connections between the energetics of colour

and crystal in TCM-- I'm happy to share thoughts!

When you ask, why not TCM theory, do you mean, why is there not more

of a correlation with colours, as there is with the chakras?

The very basic premise of the Wu Xing correlates Yin organs and

their associated emotions. It sounds as though you have explored at

least this basic level of connection. Often an organ in imbalance

will manifest in the body (often the complexion, and in certain

areas) as it's ruling colour.

Can you give me a brief idea of how the chakras relate with certain

crystals?

And excellent news that you practice Qi Gong.. I think it's one of

the most beneficial things we can do! I'm yet to find a good

educator where I live.

Well Lani, unfortunately, I don't know much about chakras. I've only

read that each chakra has a related color and the same colored stones

are supposed to help propblems related to that chakra or combination

of chakras.

So what I was wondering is, since each color is related to different

organs and their meridians, can the same colored crystals have a

healing effect on them? For instance, when I do energy healing for

people, I only pick up imbalances as hot spots or cold spots (too

yang or too yin respectively) when I do an energy scan. So if I was

able to figure out which organ had the imbalance, would the same

colored crystal help improve the imbalance in that meridian?

Another important question is, since the lower tan tien is basically

where all the body's chi is stored, would putting certain, or even

all crystals on that area be more of a generalized type of therapy

for the entire meridian system? Also, would using colored crystals on

the chi points related to specific organs be more effective for

healing those organs?

I have so many ideas and not enough resorces to find answers. lol

Hope I didn't confuse you more. But, at least you get the basic ideas

behind my questions :)

Take care
