Guest guest
Hi there peoples, For many years I have found it very interestng that people like to mix their modalities, and I ask myself why. Crystals are very powerful in their own rights and when used on there own wounderful things happen and take place. As the same can and is said about Reiki when used with the right intent wounderful healing takes place. So why do people mix their modalities? is it because we as humans won't every thing to happen then and there? or as we hear many a time we want things to have happen yesterday. Do we not believe in what we are doing will work so we need to add a bit of this or that to it so it will work. Who takes responsibility for what happens, when the physicl, emotional and mental bodies and not to forget the spiritual can not cope with the issues that come to hand so hard and fast. Do we carry on with the same technique of healing or do we change to something else. Then what do we do with the client or animal or for those that have past over, for their after care till you see them again, thats if they come back. I'm very interested in other peoples thoughts on this. Tall Black Cats.

How would you know if it was Reiki energy vibrating through the crystal and not the crystal energy it's self. Why would people want to have Reiki healing through a crystal in the first place? Sorry can't get my head aroun that one. Tall Black Cat. > >
Guest guest
Because it gives them something visual, tangible, to hold on to. It is easier for them to " feel " the energy and attribute it to a stone (either coming from or through) then to simply feel the energy all by itself. Guest guest
For me personally I let the crystals decide what they want. I have a couple of crystals that don't like reiki. I also have a couple that that is all they want to be involved with right now. My crystals are very involved in my life, they do everything with me and go every where. I have a very small personal collection that live in and around my family and they like being a part of that. When I get ready for a treatment I ask my crystals if they want to join in and if they do then I let them. It clears them and cleanses them as well as adds to my treatment. They don't always join in, sometimes I like to be alone and just focus on the reiki and the flow of reiki and the feeling of it pulsing in my body. One thing my crystals don't do is reiki treatments on other people. I do lay grids with them around my pets if my pet needs it but I either do reiki or work with crystals when I am working on others. I think the one thing everybody responding to this post is forgetting is that " reiki " is a japanese word that means universal energy. The chinese have a similar description of the same thing called " wu chi " (origina energy). Whether you are using specific reiki techniques taught in reiki classes while using crystals or, just working with crystals makes no difference. The same basic energy, reiki or wu chi, is what flows through the crystals, whether they are projecting or absorbing it. However, since crystals don't have concious thoughts, I don't think they can discriminate between healthy energy or harmful energy. I believe positve effects are all crystals are able to cause unless they give off toxic chemicals through touch or from drinking elixers. I hope this helps give a new perspective of what's really happening during any energy therapy, with or without crystals. Take care. Ray > > For me personally I let the crystals decide what they want.
