Guest guest
Candace, Martha, everyone...Martha's email included the link, and Macomb College is 10 minutes from my home. As I have met a fellow Crystal Healing Workshop member, Jennifer, and we have become fast friends-(she lives in Wyoming, MI) we plan to meet up at that time to purchase more beautiful stones and enjoy each other's collections and hang out-we have been exchanging photos and emails for months and have had a blast! So I say, the more, the merrier, and I plan on going up several times that weekend and can meet anyone up there who is planning to come in. I went to school on campus for awhile, and it's simple to get in and out of. Candace, you can contact me privately for jewelry if you would like. This show is really wonderful-they even have specimens from museums all over the place that you can look at and bid on-some are very cheap, but the selection is just outstanding-just vendors from everywhere, and many displays such as how they mine and big dinosaur fossils and fossil digs for the kids-lots of interaction, lots of fossils and huge specimens, Native American items, rough rock like raw copper, agate, gorgeous lapidary work, etc, but more than anything else, the selection and the PRICE...I guess because there was just such volume, the prices were so low, I was wishing for a bucket (or 5) of bucks, but I came away with many beautiful specimens for very little-I know my eyes were glazed because I was a poor girlie that week. I will rob Peter next time. Ok. That is all. It would be worth the trip if you live nearby, even a little nearby, but do make a " shopping list " or you will come home with everything you want and nooooooooo money at all. But, yes, it would be fun if a bunch of people wanted to meet up at the same time, and say, do lunch or something! I am sure I could find a restaurant! We may have Mc Donald's money left! Brenda I was going to ask the same question, Candace, as I'm in Ohio and Macomb County sounded familiar as in southern Michigan. Decided to Google it and found this page: http://www.michmin.org/show/ Looks like it's not till October. But maybe we could have a list meet-up there for those who live close enough. --Martha
