Nice pic, Brenda. I also checked out some of your other pics--loved the rose

quartz--what a huge one. I've never seen one so crystalline looking either. I

have a rose quartz heart though and I love it. Great healing and love stone. :<)

Love and peace,

Thanks so much, Brigit. I actually found this beautiful piece of rose

quartz in the yard of the home I am now renting, which is one of the

reasons I immediately chose this place to live. It is about the size

of a human skull and just gorgeous-it was placed amongst several large

green stones I have not yet identified, and a huge chunk of petrified

wood, several beautiful chunks of granite and other large rocks that

certainly had been collected but left here not by the owner but a

tenant. The yard also is deeply wooded with oak trees, herbs and

flowers, and there was a copper wire strung with various crystals on

the mailbox, a stone circle, and many crystals have been found on

property-yes, I felt right at home right away. I touch it daily, and

draw love from it, but also send reiki back into it, and keep it very

near my plants and the center of my family-everyone who enters my home

comments or wants to touch it. It can become dull if it doesn't get

attention-I take it in the bath with me and then rub it with a little

lavender oil and it just sparkles and becomes clear pink again. It is

a complete joy. Love and peace to you as well, Brigit! Brenda

aww, si'la, that's sweet! I get a lot of visitors on my back

porch-will stick a few pics in my album-it's my meditation/tai

chi/jewelry making spot all summer long, so if anyone in the group is

in the Detroit area after the thaw, come sit on the porch! I am a

southern girl at heart....been up here 13 years but my heart and home

is in Texas. Michigan is beautiful, though. And I came through a very

long desert period and am so happy to be at peace here. Anyone else

want to post a picture of their sanctuary? I have another little spot

in the basement, but it is still evolving. C'mon spring!!!!

Wow Brenda I can almost feel the amazing energy of your home! Are you in

Europe? Sounds like it.

Brenda, What Detroit suburb do you live in? My Gram is in Livonia. She has

lived there for 55+ (?) years now. Gramps passed in Feb of 2000 and she is at

92 (in June) still living on her own in the house she and Gramps raised my

Dad and Aunt in. I try to visit her a couple times a year. I will actually be

heading up there for Mother's day weekend in May.

Blessings to your eve all.

~~It is called Earth Lore, and they have such a great selection.~~

Thanks for the tip!! It is apparently only 4.5 miles from Gram's house!.

Does Earth Lore have natural crystals as well (clusters, natural points not cut

and polished, other roughs)? I really don't purchase too many tumbles stones

these day (I have quite a lot already) and prefer to go more for as natural

as possible. I will have to try to find a bit of time to sneak away from

Grams to explore!!

Blessings to your weekend all.
