Guest guest
I love Larimar as well, and especially if connected with Dolphin's. I have a Moonstone Dolphin pendant which I find very soothing and when I feel stressed out or angry, I wear it. Larimar is awesome and only found in the Dominican Republic, which by the way is where I live. I have access to Larimar and Ambar if anyone is interested. Sorry for my procrastination last time when I posted the availability of Ambar. I will do my best to search out some Larimar and Ambar if anyone is interested. The only problem here is shipping can be a little expensive. Ok, peace - silalasangre Thursday, February 28, 2008 10:06 PM [CrystalHW] Larimar - Dolphin Stone A few weeks ago I went into the shop in town that I patron, a frame shop, art shop/jewelry shop. Anyhow, I was instantly drawn to a ring of stirling sliver and Larimar. I didn't know this stone, in fact neither clerk in the shop new what it was. I put $20 bucks down and said I would be back and pick it up. Today was the day. SO happens the shop owner was there and we were chatting, I told her I came to pick up my ring... she was delighted to know that I had layed away the ring of Larimar.. my belief system has assured me that this Dolphin Stone is my personal gem stone and now my friends... I have been united with a stone that will surely improve my quality of life. Thank you for being here for me to share with... I am as happy as a lark. si`la Reflecting the azure blue waters of the Caribbean, Larimar is a recently discovered rare gemstone found in only one minesite on our Planet. Often mistaken for translucent Turquoise or fine blue Jade, Larimar beautifully mirrors the waters surrounding its island origin. Larimar's crystal vibrations and unique blend of colors have drawn many people to it. Scientifically, Larimar or Blue Pectolite is totally unique in it's mineral and chemical make-up.Copper,similar to Turquoise,is the cause of color. That is the only connection of Larimar to the ancient stone known as Turquoise. Sodium calcium silicate with a copper ion is the chemical description of Larimar. This website includes the foremost scientific paper to date on the subject. The Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.) along with the founder of our Larimar companies, Charles Mark, helped produce this study and published their findings in the Winter 1989 issue of Gems and Gemology -the most prestigious gem magazine in the world. The full extent of Larimar's metaphysical qualities are still being revealed, but it is said the various colors each exert their own particular energy. Blue tones calm the spirit, greens assist healing, while red patterns strengthen the will. Overall Larimar is associated with the Fifth Chakra and the Deva of the Blue Ray. Larimar works to bring truth to the communications process. larimar sphere Version: 7.5.516 / Virus Database: 269.21.1/1303 - Release 2/28/2008 12:14 PM

Sorry for my procrastination last time when I posted the availability of Ambar. I will do my best to search out some Larimar and Ambar if anyone is interested. The only problem here is shipping can be a little expensive. I had never heard of it before she posted her message on the ring. However, now I'm in LOVE with it! I have been watching a few pieces on Ebay. I would be interested to know what you can send up to Ohio in the US! jayne
Guest guest
I didn't know that was where it came from. I was SO lucky in that my RM sent me a Larimar tumblestone just the other week - I LOVE it! It is stunning! I also love dolphins. Muriel , " David A. Guest guest
This is another one of my favorite stones! I have a lot of favorites. *lol* What a wonderful find for you. I agree with you it is a wonderful stone for Dolphin energy work, Dolphin Reiki, etc. I have also found that it has some butterfly energy too. It is such a nurturing stone! I love it because of its loving, calming, comforting, soothing energy. I have also found that it helps with compassion, intellect, deep thought, introspection, inner wisdom, outer manifestation. It has helped me through many of my 'cycles' and many times facillitates recognition and release of self-imposed limitations. For me it helps with spirituality too. It has been associated with Lemuria and Atlantis. It is considered a healer's stone, a stone of spirituality, and a stone for healing the Earth and it's oceans/waters. I use larimar for when I send Reiki to the waters of the Earth. I have been blessed with a necklace and ring made in a native american traditional way back in 2000. I just love this stone!! I know, I said it again. I do think this is one of my all time favorites. It is also known as pectolite. Blessings on working with your new crystal friend.
