Guest guest
Can you give a more indepth description of it? What shape are the crystals formed in (straited/needle-like, points, some other shape). Is the silvery color a bright lustrous silver color of more of a matt finish? kari john <john.kari1 Tue, 19 Feb 2008 11:15 am [CrystalHW] silvery crystal Hi, I got a silvery cluster type crystal off a friend yesterday, not sure what it is, sorry got no pic to put on the list as I have no digi camera. Guest guest
John, What do the individual crystals look like though if you would take one out of the cluster. Even a cluster of crystals has different shapes to the individual crystlas then *just a cluster* shape. Is an individual crystal more like a needle? a quartz point? a cube? a tooth (like dogtoothed calcite forms)?.... etc. The shape of a crystal/mineral is an important part of the identification process if one wants to get it correct. Blessigns to your day all. Guest guest
Hi folks, I just got a digital camera yesterday and been testing it out.Ishould have had a pic of the silvery crystal I told you all about on disc,As I am at the web cafe ( no access at home) the disc is empty, so will have to re save it for next time. But I got a lovely one of the creamy quartz, so perhaps someone could tell me if it is a clear one? It is not see through like clear quartz is. I think it is an abundance one- it was given to me as a gift. [/\ IMG] I hope this link works! Kari

Guest guest
Aloha Kari. . .Although pic is out of focus, silvery crystal appears to be a piece of Iron Pyrite, also known as fool's gold. Assists in removing toxins by working with blood and liver, grounding, balances female/male polarites because of silver and brassy appearance. Works with all chakras. Hope this is helpful. Guest guest
Aloha Renau and All. . .We just had some new pieces come in and the golden or brassy color is not apparent in all of them. They've really gotten a lot of attention lately. Young boys in particular are drawn to them. maybe a good thing as they balance male/female polarity. The kids often ask if it is real 'Fool's Gold'. And we say yes it is real Fool's Gold', it's common nick name. One gentleman picked a piece while his wife who was more knowledgeable able minerals shopped. We jokingly instructed him to use his intuition as a way to select a stone to keep him occupied. He stopped everyone in mid conversation to show us the goosebumps on his arm. He didn't believe that a stone could have that much effect, so decided to do his own little experiment by putting the stone down, letting the goosebumps go away and see what happened. They returned many, many times. Our discussion revealed the fact that he was undergoing treatment for 'fatty tissue around the liver'. His research in the Melody book validated exactly why he had 'chosen' it. The original piece he held was a larger polished massage tool, but he found that even the smallest pieces had an effect and he chose one that he could carry in his pocket. The stones never seem to fail in their ability to support, heal and instruct. Guest guest
Nice post Skye. I will take a better picture of the crystal to post on next week. I got this crystal after it came through to me via the crystal oracle deck with an important message, then this one seemed to connect with me when I saw it in the shop. I feel a bit bad really as Ii haven't worked with it as such yet. In the the evening of the day I brought it home I held it and gazed into it tho- the images were quite " psychedic " - lots of shimmering lights.
