I actually have an amethyst cluster (a large part of what would have been a geode or stalgtite/mite) that has hematite phantoms in it that are about the same color red as that " cherry quartz " . This is throughout most of the cluster which measures 11 " x13 " x7 " (triangle) and 2 " deep. It also has the more iron-red hematite color in it. Unfortunately I do not have a decent camera for getting a good detail picture to show you. Blessings to your eve all. Hematite can be red.. and often is.... even on the Hematite Quartz that I sell or in the Amethyst Phantom Quartz with Chlorite that we have...and it can be quite red.
