Guest guest
does anyone put their crystals in the freezer overnight? It just feels so cruel! The last few full moons have been so extremely cold up here in Michigan that I have been hesitant about leaving mine outside for very long, if at all, but I have put out a few heavily used ones lately...I am standing by the door like they are children-hahaha! Can't imagine sticking them in the freezer, and I wonder if some of the more delicate ones would crack due to temperature change, esp. opals and such. I am fortunate to have reiki to clear mine, so I don't have to rely on the full moon, but I think I would be careful with the freezer method. I would think if the window is a bad idea because of the temperature and rays, the freezer would be an equally extreme environment. Does anyone agree, or is this a common practice? I am curious. Guest guest
Putting it in the freezer??? Well this is the first time I have heard that. I don't think I would want to put mine in the freezer due to the fast temperature change. That isn't good for any item. I remember reading someone saying something about it was cold during the last couple full moons, just putting them in the window would be fine if the moonlight can reach it. Anyway, back to the freezer... Is there any other source that I may be able to find more information on how a freezer will clear my stones. I haven't found any so far. Except about people experimenting with that method. I would suggest to go with what you feel is " right " . If you do try it out, let me know how it turned out. Guest guest
Hi! You can clear anything by burning White Sage. With your intent put the stones in the smoke. You can smudge your Moldavite. , " traciandrick " <tracispoopy wrote: > > Putting it in the freezer??? Well this is the first time I have heard > that. Guest guest
Sage is how I do mine. There is a store right down the road from me that won't let you leave the store with the stones you bought until you smudge them. Plus she gives some free sage as well. Guest guest
That store sounds nice Rick. I work with sage now and again- a bunch lasts ages doesn't it? At the mo I am working with Frankinsense granules and Tibetan insence sticks made by monks in Nepal. The freezer does indeed sound cruel Brenda!!! I won't even put my beloved crystals out in a dish under the moon when its very cold. On 2/17/08, traciandrick <tracispoopy wrote: > > Sage is how I do mine.
