Some crystals and even bone are carved into phallic shapes (representing the

man's penis) and used as fertility amulets for men. There are aboriginal and

other tribes of people who live off the land that will wear them about their

waist for fertility and I think possibly strength and protection as well in

some cultures.

 

These give an interesting read on the history of the phallus symbol and the

Shiva Lingam (sanskrit - also a phallic symbol) that is also found in a stone

representative of the vagina.

The pentagram is my most favorite and I work with it more then the other

star shapes in crystal healing (both personal and on others - on the chakras).

Depending on the need, the Pent will be placed on the Chakra upright or

inverted to alter the energy flow. I also use them for gridding, as dream

crystals

and jewelry pieces for their energy.
