the wonderful find I came across today

I had an appointment today close to my favorite metaphysical shop. As

my husband had my van I had to take the bus which met being downtown

over an hour early so my kids and I spent some time in the shop just

looking around. I came across a little box full of stones for a

dollar a piece. I was poking through it when I found a piece of

petrified wood, a piece of picture jasper and a piece of what I think

is mookaite. They are all over 1 and a half inches in length. These

3 stones wanted to come home with me in a bad way as I put them back

several times telling myself I didn't need them, finally I decided to

get them. When I went to pay my 7 month old gave the owner of the

store the biggest smile and made such a fuss over her flirting and

laughing she gave me them all for a dollar even. I laughed as we

where leaving and said I would lend him to her if she would give me a

singing bowl, we both laughed and so did he (if only he know that I

offered him up for trade LOL). My 4 year old, bless his little

serious heart, started to cry and said I wasn't allowed to give his

baby away. Which despite myself I had to laugh at also.
