Unclear signs, inconsistent answers, etc. But neither did I have an actual pendulum nor had I been reiki attuned. However, recently I lost something and someone's suggestion to use a pendulum to find it prompted me to pull out one I bought a month ago but had never used. Well, lemme tell ya... now I'm getting really strong yes and no answers. I didn't find what was missing, but I have found much more in the meantime! 2. I chose the stones to use at the chakras for the reiki self- healing a couple of nights ago and Wow! The energy flowed very well from the first position all the way through the last! I was very pleasantly surprised with the results. Before it took a few positions to get a good flow and the energy was less consistent. Big difference! 3. i am branching out in my newbie reikiness and I approached my neighbor about giving him a treatment since I needed another guinea pig to help give me feedback so I can develop my scanning and sensory a bit better. I was nervous that the reiki wouldn't flow, or he wouldn't feel it, or whatever, so I grabbed a hematite stone with the reiki power symbol on it (part of a set I bought on ebay) and slipped it into my pocket on the way out the door to remind me to draw the symbols. Well, I forgot to draw the symbols and I did have to relax before I felt the flow become consistent, but he did feel it, and gave me lots of feedback. But we both noticed one side was stronger than the other. I asked what was going on in that part of his body and he gave me a list, but as we moved down, it was still sronger. Then when we changed from back behind the head/shoulders to the front of the body and my hands switched sides, the power stayed stronger in my left hand. After the session was over, I put my hands in my pocket and found the power symbol stone in my left hand pocket!! LOL!! I also us crystals in my reiki practice and find a similar thing when I do but this is a great example of how crystals can enhance a reiki treatment. So cool. I have used everything from a pencil on the end of a string (thread actually) to my pendants on chains to actual pendulums and have always had success with each one of them for definite yes and no answers and even no answers at all due to vagueness of question. I wasn't even Reiki attuned when I picked up my first thing to use as a pendulum. It is great though that you have finally had success and that is no small thing!! Blessings to your day.
