I've been trying to raise a large sum of money ( around 4000 ) in a

ridiculously short period of time ( 10 days) for a strange purpose (

seminar) in a remote and inaccessible location. I have no idea what my

odds are but I'm giving it my best shot, so far I've got 160 dollars. I

have not yet set 10 different plans for getting the money in action.

I've been advised that with any goal like this you should get ten ideas

for how it can happen and put them all in action. My fathers house was

supposed to have closed by now but with the real estate meltdown the

buyer pulled out pretty much at the last minute. I have balked at the

idea of selling my crystals and they don't want to leave me either. I

also seem to be fighting the worst cold that I've had since I was about

14. One of the cats needs about 700 dollars in dental work. My oldest

cat (Tar) did pass away about a week ago. My spouse got a traffic

ticket for 270 the car required 1100 in work before it would pass the

mandatory smog inspection, we have to pay the girls school fees and tax

season is coming rapidly upon us too, the nose piece just fell off my

eyeglasses. I'm not sure if these events are in the way of obstacles

arising on the path, obstacles arising to protect one from errors, self

sabotage or just happenstance.

I'm glad that so far this year is shaping up to be a much better year

than last year, whatever happens with my short term goals. After last

year I seem to have become much more of an optimist.

Aloha again. . .On a note of optimism, a friend Robin Youngblood wanted to

travel to the International Council of Indigenous Women a few years ago and

after a drum circle at which she expressed her wish, offered her small

donations. Don't know if you have Pay Pal set up, but it would be an easy and

safe way for you to accept small (or large) amounts from the group. We so truly

admire and respect what you do and many would be happy to contribute to making

your dreams come true.

 

I once spent my last $400 to attend a 'Women Weaving the World' retreat that

was held here a few years ago after getting fired from a well paying job,

because I knew I needed to go. I thoughI I must be crazy, but in reality it was

the best $400 dollars that I've ever spent on myself. They had offered us the

chance to set up a table on last day with our wares, mine being crystals and I

made the decision to part with some that I had long held onto because of their

history. Letting go was less painful than I thought and I still remember the

joy of someone who acquired a piece of prehnite slab that I didn't actually put

out, but caught her eye. Since then many special crystals have come and gone

and I keep my commitment to offering them for the service the offer the

opportunity to be of and not just the monetary value.

Try this. I am going to also. i know what your going throw, my year has

started off much the same. And oddly enought i am not feeling that negitive, i

am remaining optimistic. if your crystals dont want to leave you i would say

that isnt the way to get the money, if it was, then I would think you would get

the feeling they were ready and this was the next step in their journey. just

my thoughts.

Abundance checks are a tool we can use to create more abundance in our lives.

They are written within 24 hours after a New Moon. Surprisingly, you really

don't even need to believe that the check will work when you write it. You will

however be amazed at the results, as you will see increased abundance in your

life, in some life area. It is not always financial, but certainly in an area

that you need.

 

There is a traditional manner, which has been handed down, that must be

followed. If you do not have a checking account you can draw a check on a piece

of paper and fill it out the same way--the results will be the same, more

abundance for you. Here's how to do them:

 

1.) Within 24 hours after a New Moon, take a check from your check book. Where

it says " Pay to, " write your name.

2.) In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount

write " Paid in full. "

3.) On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount,

write " Paid in full. "

4.) Sign the check: " The Law of Abundance. "

 

Do not put a date on the check. Do not write a specific dollar amount in the

check. Put it in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take it

from there. Many people are skeptical about trying this until they do it. After

the first time they realize the power of these checks and do them routinely

every month! Try it yourself and see!
