storing & charging crystals

What a fabulous idea .... a journal just for your crystals and crystal

work!! I too tend not to be overly *anal* about keeping my crystal family ID

(even

though it is a rather extensive family). Then again when I am out in nature

I worry less about knowing a birds species over watching it and listening to

it. I would rather learn it's essence then bog myself down with the mundane

aspects.

I know how you are feeling. We lost our beloved Tanzerin (dog) of 14 years

overnight on Oct 31/Nov 1 completely unexpectedly. I will always miss her but

she is still with us in heart and spirit. We also got new a puppy the

following weekend (rescued her from a shelter) and ultimately nursed her

through

pneumonia that she developed 5 days after we brought her home (postoperative

from her spaying surgery). She is all healthy and happy now though and such a

love and delight. Both hubby and I feel Schatzi would have died had we not been

the ones to adopt her when we did. Besides conventional vet treatment, we

also used Reiki and crystal healing and lots and lots of love. And of course

sent out a call to all who could and would send healing energies to her/us. It

was certainly a draining month on ALL levels, first with having our Tanz die

and then with nursing a sick puppy for a month ... body, mind, spirit and

finances were all taxed to the max

We have no doubt that Tanz is here coaxing Schatzi along with learning

certain things. While they are 2 totally different personalities, there are

these

little glimmers of Tanz coming through in Schatzi.

Apache Tear is a good crystal for mourning. If your beloved pet had a

particular crystal or stone that he or she liked, to me that would also be a

good

one to work with since it would have his or her energies in it (possibly even

a pet toy?)

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here,

that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can

run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm

and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and

vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again,

just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they

each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly

stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent; Her

eager body quivers. Suddenly she begins to run from the group, flying

over the green grass, her legs carrying her faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally

meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the

beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your

pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Hi! I work with my crystals & stones with what they want, not what " the

book " says. I place mine in different Altars, window sills, cloth bags,

cedar box, etc. We seem to prefer beach sand. Memory just didn't do it

for me. I have a Journal just for Crystals & Stones: outline of Stone,

messages, how to honor, where to store, etc. I have become somewhat less

worried about ID as to listening for when & what they need/ want. I have

placed a Medicine Wheel in my yard & a Traveling Medicine Wheel in my

entryway. Some like to be honored with GF Sun / GM Moon / creeks / some

like to go to gatherings of Energy Workers/ Fairy & Angel shelves.

When it is time for them to travel to someone else I seem to know &

pass them on.

I cant wait till I develope this relationship with my crystals. They are so

interesting. They do communicate with me some what. If i hold them asking a

question they will vibrate in my hand. I dont have as many as i would like to.

I have somewhere some that I bought as a kid. They are all very special.

If you have any advice I would love to hear it. Also is there a crystal that

is good for letting go of a passed pet...or any thing related. We lost one of

our dogs last night.
