More than twenty years later, The Crystal Trilogy is still in print, has been published in many different languages, and is fully copyrighted. In my second book, CRYSTAL HEALING, I wrote about six master crystals and in my third book, THE CRYSTALLINE TRANSMISSION I wrote about six more Master Crystals, making a total of twelve. I gathered this information through long study, research, meditation, and attunement with the crystals. I learned sacred geometry and numerology to understand and describe them. And, in putting this information out into the general public, I have always been very concerned about misuse. Still, ever since 1980, there have been many different authors who plagiarized and misrepresented my copyrighted information, especially about the master crystals. Time and time again, I saw that unless I hired an attorney and went to court, there was nothing I could do about it. But spending time and energy in court is not the direction I want to take my life. But rather than going the way of litigation, I have chosen to expose a few of the offending authors. Guest guest Posted January 6, 2008 Report Share Posted January 6, 2008 Hi, Even though I do not share Katrinas renown or even the authors she mentioned, I have seen my work, taken directly word for word from my book and given no credit. I have seen it in books...as well as others authors words that I have recognized in other books. I have seen it on websites quoting me without the credit. It happens. Especially in this business. One day I found some new crystal info that I got excited to learn more about and so I goggled in the info and came up with roughly 12 different sites quoting the same info...word for word....and nobody stating the origin of the work. I have found by reading many crystal books throughout the years much of the same info re-written from book to book without proper credits or verification that the info could be true. In my book I spent much time giving credit where credit was due. If we are in this field to heal and educate than we are charged with showing others how to expand their knowledge. No one man show. It must have been very painful for someone as brilliant as Katrina. Her work and discoveries have much merit and her work has never been simply re-written from dozens of other books. I cannot wait for her new work and now I know why she waited. She has helped birth a viable profession for the world. I thank this site and its members...because over the years I have seen great integrity as you have quoted from where the info had been borrowed. Guest guest Posted January 7, 2008 Report Share Posted January 7, 2008 I have mixed feelings about this, I have quite a few books on crystals and crystal healing that predate Katrina Raphaells' so I'm not sure that her assertion of her book being " one of the first ever written on the healing power of crystals " is valid. She did apparently originate most of the Master crystal information and respectable authors should credit her with that. I've always had issues with the perceived validity/ importance of her work. Some of my own experience differs or even conflicts with her teachings. Her stuff works but its not the only thing that does and many not be the best theories and methods (IMO). My reality stream differs quite a bit from hers as to crystal work and that is O.K. I'm not one of the hot shot crystal healing Authority figures either. Please go with your own gut with any kind of crystal healing or energy work but also expect what reads true to change as you evolve and learn. One issue with ownership of channeled information is that more than one person can channel similar information. If it is true and comes from spirit then perhaps not everything can be Owned by a single author /voice channel. On the other hand word for word copying and uncredited use is wrong. I have also found material I've written all over the net and in some books too and have quite a few people taking my name off energy work manuals I've written and claiming it as their own. Just the other day I was dealing with a group that has " liberated " the Huna Empowerments materials I have organized and written. I sympathize with Ms Raphaell too. It is frustrating when things you have worked on to clarify have been taken and twisted to strange ends or to have what you feel are essential elements left out of a practice. I'm going to trust the universe I've found that things to come right over the long run. Guest guest Posted January 8, 2008 Report Share Posted January 8, 2008 Hi Ladies on this subject... plagerism is wrong, and when nothing can be physically done about it, it makes a sad case for anybody writing anything... however, as mentioned with receiving channelled informations,,is it also correct to put copywrites on it...to say that you're the only one that got it....is perhaps a bit presumptuous and maybe even egotistical.... Believe it or not, I had received some attunements, which were very beneficial, and I am allowed to pass them on as Master/Teacher,,,but I had (HAD), a friend who ran a development class, who actually told me to re-write them and put them out as my own.... That person's Integrity with me went right down the tubes,,,along with all her teaching....and any future association with her... When I teach something in a class,,,(very informal at home ones),, I always have the books/material 'on hand', and make sure it's known, that this information is 'not mine' but I am using the best resources at hand,,,with all the due accreditation to the original writers... in the end, I rely on the Law of Attraction, what people do wrongly, will come out in the end,,,to their own detriment.... what we read, and believe, has to be tested with discernment,,,and if the gut feeling is wrong,,,then follow it... I am quite new to the board, and have been reading Peggy's files, with much enjoyment....for the first time, and probably because of the way she writes, I am seeing my own thoughts and feelings about some crystals written,,,,by someone else.... was that plagarism???, hardly,,,,but a nice confirmation for me to see, that I have already learned through experience what she is putting out....also the wonderful new information for me to research and carry on my learning...
