According to Teresa Kennedy's " Gems of Wisdom, Gems of Power " , the stones of

creativity are:

Alexandrite (for inspiration and imagination)

Amazonite (for verbal forms of self-expression - for writers)

Calcite (to better manifest inspiration in reality)

Danburite (helps give form to feeling)

Epidote (for creative blocks)

Larimar (especially for writers)

Prehnite (helps pull out all the stops)

Quantum Quattro Silica (for things falling into place, aha moments)

Rhyolite (reach to greater sense of what you can achieve)

Zincite (offers opportunity for creativity, use with other stones above)

I am finally writing the book I have been wanting to write, but can't find any

information about stones to have around me that will help with that. Any

suggestions of stones that help with writing?

Aloha Claudia. . .Stone I am most familiar with as writers aid is Amazonite

often called the write/artist/musician stone as relates to 3rd chakra-self

confidence, 4th Chakra-opening heart and 5th Chakra-speaking one's truth,

communication. Turquoise, because of similar colors and effectiveness of

relationship and friendship enhancer would probably be great also. Any stones

with orbicular patterns great for creativity, rebirthing and new projects. A

stone called Rubellite in Fuschite often cut into spheres and wands might be

helpful. The stone coming through is Snowflake Obsidian one that is grounding

protective, balances polarities and great for new 'beginnings'. If familiar

with using a pendulum or any other polarity testing method ask about any of

these. I can feel that you ready to start, so hope the process goes smoothly

and is enjoyable.

I am a graphic designer and Green Aventurine works really well. Please

consider this to the list of the other gemstones that were already listed.

Hi Claudia,

I would say carnelian would help with creativity, inspiration and achieving

goals. Also amethyst will put you in touch with your higher self so that you

stay on the right track.

My crystal healer has said that she holds a piece of smoky fluorite in her

palm while writing her workshops - I think this is for focus.

Thanks for all the great suggestions!

The stones I chose intuitively are a Clear Quartz Skull with lots of rainbows, a

Labrodorite Skull, a Bluegoldstone Skull, an Amethyst Sphere, Celestite Cluster,

and Danburite. They feel really good together.

I will locate some citrine and hope I have Smokey Flourite, Flourite is one of

my favorite stones.

Not sure where you're located, but (

Fluorite in - it's the only place I've seen it. They're based in the UK,

but will ship to most countries.

Sometimes I work with one, sometimes many. It just all depends on what I am led

to do. My house is filled with crystals after 20 years of collecting :-).

Found it! I have a tiny skull that is a smokey fluorite. It is now sitting on my

'knowledge' area of my writing desk. I have attempted to do Feng Shui to my desk

to help me in creating the book.

I am actually writing 2 books at the moment.

I spent 22 years caretaking an amazing being in the form of my daughter,

Samantha. You can read about her on my website. She made her transition a year

and a half ago. One book is about our experiences with her since her passing.

She has taught us without a doubt that life does go on and that our spirit

doesn't really change after our body dies. She is just as mischievous now as

ever :-). The other book will be about how I survived, and thrived through

those difficult 22 years. I want to help others to survive the difficult lessons

they have chosen for themselves. I have been wanting to write Samantha's story

for a long time, and it is finally time to do so.

I started another book years ago about Samantha's spiritual life, but only got

the prologue and one chapter done and nothing else has come through. One day,

that book will be written. She was definitely a spiritual being having a human

experience and it is an amazing story.

It wasn't an easy transition. After her being the center of my life for 22

years, not having her here took a lot of getting used to. We lost everything

when she died - our income, her nurses and therapists who had become our family,

our reason for doing everything. Now, a year and a half later, we have thrived!

Watching the miracles unfold in our lives has been amazing. I want other parents

to know we can survive this type of a loss.

It is very hard to grieve when the person is sitting there laughing at you :-)

Some psychics say that when we die, we become perfect Angels. Well, Samantha is

the same little devil she always was :-). She still has fights with Michael,

goes shopping with us and tries to talk us into buying her things, plays tricks

on us, etc. She helped one of my clients conduct a seminar on the morning that

the died. She is the same spirit, just not confined to that body any more.

killed, still has the same madcap sense of humor as always, and my dad

Wow, 20 years! You must have an amazing collection! I've only been going for

a year or so lol and already I have a lot in my book

So glad you found the smokey fluorite. Any particular favourites among your

new crystals for writing?

I didn't realise you had been going through so much with your daughter. In

some ways I want to say 'How awful for you' but I also read your reply to

Peggy and understand how much you have received from her special life,

experiences that you would perhaps never have had otherwise. Some terrible

things can happen in life, but so many wonderful things can happen as a

result. It's quite strange, isn't it? Anyway, I am very glad that you are

writing these books. Do you have a publisher lined up?

I have been using the little Smokey Fluorite Skull, Clear Quartz Skull and Blue

Goldstone Skull. The first time, I put them by the screen on my laptop facing

me. By the time I was finished writing, they had turned themselves to look at

the screen :-). They watch what I write. Those are the ones I use continuously.

Yes, it was awful :-). I fully admit that. I hated having to experience it. But,

I found a way to see the good that came from it instead of feeling sorry for

myself. This is what I want to help others do too.

No. I am expecting to self-publish, but that can always change. I am leaving

that up to Spirit. I will figure that out when it is finished.
