I have around my desk and computer some larger chunks of crystals: lepidolite for it's calming energies - My work place can be quite chaotic at times. When I need an extra boost, I will hold it for a few moments. rose quartz I have place above the door into my parts room selenite for it's cleansing properties and white light energies black obsidian for it's grounding energies I also have hanging from a light fixture right above my desk a quartz crystal that is carved in the shape of a pentagram - kind of a feng shui sort of thing. I will give it a spin to help energize my workspace every so often. ~~What are all the different methods to cleanse the stones if they can't be put into water?~~ I personally use selenite and just pure intent and reiki energy for cleansing and charging crystal. After having salt damage a quartz crystal (7 on the Mohs hardness scale) I never recommend the use of salt due to it's caustic and corrosive nature. ~~At night do u put them under pillow or keep in the pouch in your hand? ~~ This is all about your personal preference. Depending on the size of your crystal and the type of pillow(s) you use, under your pillow is a good way to do it. There really is no need for concern that the crystal will get lost either. It is afterall only your bed and bedroom and quite easy to find if it moves during the night. You would want to use caution though for softer crystals and if your floor is not carpeted. If it falls on the bare floor the crystal can get damaged. I have tried holding crystal but at some point always let go of them during sleep and then wind up rolling over on them in an uncomfortable spot. If the crystal is large, you can either put it on a nightstand or table beside the be or even under the bed below where your pillow is. Hope this helps. Blessings to your day all.
