Guest guest
I hope everyone is having a happy solstice , Yule, Christmas, Winter holiday season and getting ready for a whole new year . the Fung Shui people are telling me that next year is a much better prospect than this one has been. I'm pretty sure that time has sped up in my vicinity at least the days seem to be zipping by at beyond light speed going with the flow is getting me serious windburn figuratively speaking .. If anyone is in Ventura there is a photo exhibit and reception tonight at the Brooks Institute of Photography at 6:00 PM. which will include photos taken at the services for Hn, Daniel Noble in July, Heartrending but beautiful and moving photos by Mathew Williams. I think there are also photos of a happier homecoming by another photographer. I've had a lot of crystals and stones and rocks join me this year and the ongoing process of getting to know them is going on. Sept with a new dream pouch selection last night and did have some interesting dreams though not anything with enough clarity to share here at this time. This pouch has Angelite , Sugilite, Pink Opal, Lapis ,Rainbow Moonstone and Beryl ,slept well, had interesting dreams and recall them a bit better than usual too. Whats under your pillow? How do you do with the choices others have made in pouches they offer? I know that my own choices usually differ from what is in commercial sets whatever the designated intent for them. My latest discovery for storage and display of my stone and crystal companions is those molded plastic apple containers from Costco I separate the top and bottom and have two sets of 12 compartments they stack well are open for those of the stone folk who do not wish to be shut in are easy to set out and chose from for layouts and grids as well as the choose what calls you method . biggest disadvantage is that they are a bit springy so one might accidentally spill or even possibly shoot one stones across the room, has not actually happened What has happened is once when I picked up a few off the stack a piece of rainbow obsidian stuck to the bottom and launched itself at a visitor . It was exactly what he needed of course and went home with him. I've been reorganizing or perhaps I should say visiting and rearranging many of the crystals in my care . This seemed like something I needed to do in preparation for the holidays and the New Year and I'm rediscovering old companions and experiencing them in new ways.
