Crystals for Third-Eye and Crown Chakras

My teacher prescribes Amethyst for Crown Chakra and Clear-Quartz for

Third-Eye Chakra. But in many discussions on the net I have found it

in other way round. Which is the correct order ? I haven't

experimented myself. Should I give a try ?

I have often used light blue and blue green stones at the throat,

indigo and violet at the brow and violet and clear at the crown. but of

course indigo and royal blue stones can be right for the throat chakra

too. I have also had the lighter blue and aqua stones " ask to be at

the brow or crown for some treatment sessions. I began this work with

color healing but have now come to listen /feel for what the stones

guidance is, increasingly the stone will not be one of the more common

choices. Most Chakra work with crystal healing is directed toward

the etheric and emotional " layers " of the aura and sometimes the mental

layer. When you are working on issues involving or at the causal level

and other vibration levels of the aura your color choices will often be

quite different. Pink and Magenta stones also often " ask to be places in

non standard locations.

Do give it a try and listen feel for guidance and effect. Do remember

that what is best at one time or most of the time may not always be the

best choice in a specific case and that as we change the crystals we

work with may also change . Also an aversion or discomfort when working

with a crystal can mean that you are not ready to deal with a particular

issue or that you resist working with an issue It may not indicate

that you should avoid the stone altogether.
