Guest guest
My Mother is having a terrible time with sciatica. Due to osteoarthritis two of her vertebra are fused together, these ones are directly related to sciatica. I am also having trouble with sciatica at this time, but mine is no where near as bad as moms. What stones would be good for sciatica problems? Guest guest
Hi Sandra, Sciatica is the largest nerve in the body associated with the largest organ in the body....the liver. The liver, in the Vedas, is ruled by Jupiter and Jupiter stones are yellow sapphire, citrine and golden imperial topaz. Most sciatica has a relation with over-heated body conditions...which is normal for the inflammation generation....which we are known as ...as most disease processes of the body are occurring because of the habits that cause inflammation....poor food choices and too many stimulants. I recommend Milk Thistle/Dandelion...I love the formula by Herb Pharm...about $11...take 30 drops two times a day ( avery average dose). Also drinking peppermint tea...warm..several times per day. This will clear the liver heat and also clear the energies to the eyes which have a relationship to the liver. Ask her if she is also experienceing eye strain or weakness. I have also had success with homeopathy for sciatica. You can go on-line and get a formula specific to your needs. In general...sciatica in the back of the leg, running down the leg, has a relation to liver...on the side of the leg, the gall bladdar and the front of the leg...the stomach. In the back of the leg the nerve will bifercate, split and go to the ankles.....if you live in a cold part of the country try a warm compress as well on the lower back where the nerve originates. If it is mostly in the hips...that can be known as false sciatica, caused by a pinching of the piriformis muscles....check on-line for the correct exercises....it is hard to explain in an e-mail.....and never let anyone dig in the hips with elbows...it can make it worse...you need what is known as passive resistance exercises. Guest guest
For Homeopathy, you'd be best to see a qualified Homeopath who would work out which remedy is best suited to you. What works for one will not necessarily help the next person, it's a very individualised science.
