Guest guest
I have had three shoulder surgeries when I was younger and now I regret them. Here is what I have found to help me. I good massage therapist to get you going. Make sure you find a good one that is into other alternative treatments such as Reiki, energy balancing, etc... Use the Bone Flesh and cartilage formula found in the files. You can buy this online. Also use DMSO. Before I go to bed I rub on the B, F & C formula in with some DMSO on both shoulders. This seems to help a lot. Also one of the more important things I have found for my shoulders and for overall structural/energy benefit is something called meridian stretching. I try to do the first 2 twice a day (link below( and they have greatly helped my shoulders and also corrected some lower back problems that I was slight but nagging for years. http://www.shiatsu-yoseido.com/meridians.php good luck to you. I have dislocated both shoulders about 15-20 times each, no joke. Even after the surgeries on the left side. But after finding my path to healing above, I haven't in about 1 1/2 years even while playing hockey, tennis and basket ball. Also, it seems like your diet was good, but don't under value a good diet for the healing process. I juiced fresh fruits and veggies for breakfast and dinner for about 6 months and this also provide some great healing. I wish I was doing the meridian stretching at that time. Also if you can avoid surgery, please do at all costs. Learn from me!!! Have a great night... I might recommend a good chiropractor for structural problems like joints/bones, or a good massage therapist for muscles/tissues, in addition to anything anyone can recommend nutritionally/herbally. herbal remedies , " herbal_herb2000 " <herbal_herb2000> wrote: > Earlier this year I injured a shoulder. Guest guest
Hi Herb, Right off I would say Deep Tissure Repair Oil externally on the shoulder as often as needed and BF & C internally. You can also make an ointment out of the BF & C and apply that before rubbing in DTRO. I would say to use a hot water bottle for your hot therapy and an ice pack for the cold therapy. Would be more localized than the shower. You can also stay with them for a longer period than in the shower. Good to keep exercising it though. Do range of motion exercises and gentle stretching back, up, forward, to the side, etc. This will help to keep it loose but make sure you warm it up before you exercise and ice it after. Can't think of anything else at the moment. HTH, Don Quai - herbal_herb2000 herbal remedies Friday, December 05, 2003 1:15 AM [herbal remedies] shoulder injury Earlier this year I injured a shoulder. Guest guest
Try hot/ cold treatment. You can do this in the shower or you can use a hot towel and ice. Alternate it from hot to cold bout every minute or so. What that does it creates circulation, when something is ill or hurts it has an lack of circulation to the area. try it and let me know how it goes. He's not sure how he did it but he's still having pain when he tries to use it very much. ( I waas thinking that maybe he pulled a muscle or injured a ligament when he was lifting weights.) I had him wear a sling for the first two weeks and I thought it was getting better but everytime he uses it very much it starts to hurt again. I'm a single mom and we don't have any medical insurance (not that I believe in MD's). But I'm begining to worry that it's really serious because it doesn't seem to be improving. At 16 my son has never been to a doctor (he was born at home with a mid-wife) and I give him herbs if I think he is trying to catch a cold or something. We also eat mostly organic foods. I sure would appreicate any suggestions on what I can do to help his shoulder heal. He's very discouraged because he plays Hockey and was ready to take his Black Belt test in Karate and now he is not able to do either.Thansk so much,Jodie in NE Texas"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety " Ben Franklin 1759"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming..."Wow! Also hot/cold therapy, whereby you alternate hot and cold, either in the shower or with a hot and cold pack. In the shower, do 1 min each 5 x, with a pack, do 10 mins each 3 x, ending with hot in each.loveLisa de HaasSenior Moderator. Guest guest
Also think about Craniosacral therapy, or acupuncture or similar. I'll send Reiki if wanted. , " Dr. Maria Moratto " <drmoratto wrote: > > Hello, everyone, > I have injured my shoulder about 2 months ago (actually, I have > been noticing the pain the shoulder getting worse due to opening > and closing a heavy manual garage door).
