Deal is with Random House in the US and Beautiful Books in the UK Does anyone on the list have a story that they would like included....the angels don't have to be the ethereal ones necessarily but situations where you feel other worldly influences have been at work to help. If anyone has anything, I'd really like to hear from you so that I can either forward your experiences on to Jenny, the writer, or put you in touch with Jenny. Guest guest Posted November 21, 2007 Report Share Posted November 21, 2007 angels protected my grandchildren ...i am certain of this.. the baby sitter had put my grandchildren in the bathtub a 2 1/2 year old a 1 1/2 year old and a 6 year old plus her own little one who is 3 this is a huge whirlpool tub with mirrors that are a half inch think covering the back wall and the side wall. the baby started to cry in the other room so the babysitter left the other children alone in the tub to go see on the baby.. the oldest child had put a sticky toy on the mirrior and when she went to take it off the whole mirror came crashing down on all 4 children. the oldest child was cut and had to be taken to the emergency room but the only reason she was cut is because she lifted a part of the mirror off her 1 1/2 year old brother who was pinned under the water by the mirror... this is a short version of what happned.. but i went in the bathroom to clean up the mess and i couldnt lift the piece of the mirror that was in the tub still that my grandaughter had picked up off her brother.. there were shrads of glass all over it looked like something from one of the horror movies.. and yet the only reason one got cut is because she was saving her brother.. i know.. angels were watching those little ones.. i was awake till 4 am thanking them.... there is no way that they should have escaped unhurt yet they were.. none were harmed or died.. only Abbi who was cut because she did something wonderful but i dont see how she a 6 year old thin as a rail could lift that mirror...Angels.. were watching them...i know and belive this with my whole being.... i am still gratefull and thankful for there care.... and telling this still makes me cry and thank them... candy Christa Graves <christa.graves wrote: I wish i had something to add to that. but i dont:( It would be super cool if i did) Katy Hill <kheditorial wrote: Hi everyone, A friend of mine is 'ghosting' a book about angels entitled Encountering Angels and the part they play in our lives for a leading US psychic. To set the stage: I am a true dog person, competing and showing every weekend and spend all of my spare time with or for my dogs. I always say that I live in a big dog house and my dogs allow me to share their home Anyways, I was driving an hour each way to work and going to school in the evenings, so I was always running on low. One night on my way home from work I apparently fell asleep at the wheel. I remember " seeing " a dog with a halo sitting under a tree a little ways off the road. He was sort of transparent looking, if that makes sense. Of course, THIS woke me up immediately, just as I was heading off the road. There was nothing there when I woke up, but I know it was an angel dog saving my life. I can still picture that precious angel as clear as the day I saw it. A flight of approximately 10 stairs carved into a rock lead down to the entrance of the Tomb. One of the women brought her toddler with. The pram with the toddler in it was just by the edge of the stairs and the child was leaning backwards against the bar of the pram, when suddenly the pram started rolling towards the stone stairs with nobody near enough to stop the pram and child from crashing down the stairs. We were sure the pram would overturn and the child would be smashed to death on the stone stairs ... But unbelievable like an invisible hands held the pram upright and let the pram slowly glide down the stairs where the shocked mother was standing to catch her child. We were sure that the spirit of Joseph was there to save the child. The next morning when the doctor released me,a nurse came in and told me I had a 102 temp and she couldn't figure out why the doctor was releasing me when people had died from this flu.I was still very sick with this flu and in bed for another week. I am a person who tears the bed covers apart when I sleep,they end up on the floor or in a wad on my bed. This one night I woke up,BUT I was across the room watching everything. I was in bed sick and a man and a monk were in my room. The man was dressed in all white and without moving his mouth told me to rest everything would be all right. The monk was washing my face and straightening my bed. When I woke the next morning,my bed was perfectly straightened up,and I was back to work in 2 days When I was 2 years old i drowned in the bathtub. I remember not being able to breathe and everything going black. I woke up in a place filled with bright white light. A man,dressed in all white,came and took my hand and told me he was taking me back.The next thing I remember the man and a monk were drying me off and the man was telling me I would be ok--and I was. I have a couple of more stories if your friend wants to email me. The man and monk are the same in all of my stories. I have several stories, and will share later when I know if I have permission, as some are included in a book already.. If anyone who wants to share for a book that includes experiences in Kentucky (or Southern Indiana), my friend Thomas Freese has a book almost finished called Ghosts, Spirits and Angels, and is already working on a second installment.
