Guest guest
My friend is having a vision of a round dark blue crystal. She feels she needs this stone, but she doesnt know what it is, or what it is for. She has looked at Lapis, and Solidet, and neither of them seem to be it... could any one please send suggestions of what those are. Thank you:) Blessings

Guest guest
Has she seen sodalite - this has some white patterning but the main crystal is opaque and dark blue. There's also blue goldstone, dark blue with tiny gold sparkles. Try a google search on dark blue crystals and see what that comes up with. Hope this helps Katy x On 20/11/2007, blondimom93 <christa.graves wrote: > > My friend is having a vision of a round dark blue crystal. Used with the Throat Chakra, Azurite encourages communication from the heart and heightens awareness of Spiritual communication. Azurite can help dissolve energy blockages, communication blockages, as well as blockages to one's progress. Azurite calms and relieves mental stress. Azurite is useful in meditation to clear the mind, promote deep introspection and visualization, and allow clear recognition of intuitive messages that are received. Other possibilities are: Apatite-- Apatite can help develop psychic gifts and connect the user to higher levels of spiritual guidance. Use Apatite to deepen and maintain focus in meditation. Apatite encourages openness and ease in social situations, a quality that makes it especially useful for autistic children. Apatite enhances manifestation of ideas to reality and facilitates getting results, and has traditionally been associated with humanitarian efforts and teaching. Also a powerful Throat Chakra stone, Apatite enhances communication and self-expression on all levels. Apatite is a good stone for Gemini. Blue Aventurine-- Blue Aventurine is good for opening and activating your Throat and Third Eye Chakras. Use Blue Aventurine to help to overcome negative traits such as selfishness, childishness, and passive-aggression. Blue Aventurine is helpful to those who find themselves stuck in an immature state of development, by clearing old, stagnant energies, and opening one up to inner growth and spiritual work. Blue Aventurine is said to help with addictions, large and small, by allowing spiritual energies to come into the Third-Eye and Throat Chakras, to be processed by the subconscious mind. This action enables one to understand that the addiction is a symptom of a deeper problem, and that it is an attempt to fill a void better soothed by spiritual development. Blue Aventurine may help one to maintain inner peace despite chaos happening in one`s environment. Meditating with Blue Aventurine can help one to develop and work with intuition, and empathy, and to explore psychic abilities that may have been repressed in the past. Placing Blue Aventurine in a pillowcase for weeks or even months can allow it to slowly pass it's higher vibrations into the subconscious mind of the user. Blue Aventurine is also great for body-layouts on the Third-Eye and Throat Chakras. Chrysocolla (sometimes blue, more often green)-- Chrysocolla is a very peaceful stone. Unlike Quartz, which is high energy, or Malachite, which brings things to the surface, Chrysocolla is soothing and calming in times of stress, and brings about gentle release. Chrysocolla is used most often with the Throat Chakra, where it helps with wise communication, but it can align all charkas with the divine, and can be used with the Heart or Solar Plexus Chakras as well. Chrysocolla gently draws off negative energies of all kinds. Dumortierite-- A good Throat Chakra stone, Blue Dumortierite makes spiritual ideas easier to express, and also encourages the user to speak up for him/herself. Blue Dumortierite carries the high vibrations of Universal Consciousness, and can help one to connect to those energies during meditation. Blue Dumortierite also works with the Third-Eye Chakra, helping one to open up or improve psychic abilities and inner guidance. Usually found in deposits near water, Blue Dumortierite was once called " Petrified Water " by some of its discoverers. Blue Dumortierite brings a feeling of relaxation, calm, and harmony, and can be used to reduce stress-related conditions like headaches and tension. Stamina is increased by Blue Dumortierite, and the stone can help make unpleasant, monotonous tasks easier to bear. Iolite-- Iolite is a stone of the Third-Eye Chakra, and to a lesser extent, the Crown Chakra. It is very spirutally oriented and can bring visions when placed on the Third-Eye. It is also helpful in dreamwork when placed under the pillow. Iolite is said to help bring intuition and insights to the person working with this crystal. Iolite strengthens the aura, and acquires an electric charge when in contact with it. Iolite can helps those who are having trouble finding the spiritual self. It can help one to recognize the still, small voice within, and to discern the difference between this desired voice and one's ego. Once the voice within has been heard, one can then work with Iolite to reinforce the spiritual message and to assimilate it into one's environment. It can also help with the ability to communicate this message to others with clarity. Iolite can be an excellent aid for relationship issues, whether they be occurring in friendships, coworkers, parent-child relationships, love relationships, and so on. By carrying or wearing Iolite, one can become empathetic to the point of view or plight of others, bringing understanding to any situation and facilitating the resolution of difficult situations. Sapphire or star stapphire-- Sapphire is a stone of wisdom, the different colors of Sapphire each containing its own type of wisdom. Also known as a stone of prosperity, Sapphire sustains life force and attracts joy and peace. Sapphire opens the mind to beauty and intuition. Blue Sapphire increases intuition and mental clarity. A stone of spiritual healing and spiritual truth, Blue Sapphire is useful when channeling healing energies from the Angelic Realm or a higher source. This makes Blue Sapphire an especially good stone for practitioners of Reiki and similar modalities. Blue Sapphire helps the user stay on the Spiritual Path, boosting psychic and spiritual powers, and is a great stone for Earth and Chakra healing. Used with the Throat Chakra, Blue Sapphire enhances vocal healing modalities such as chanting. Blue Sapphire also facilitates self-expression and speaking your Truth. Blue Sapphire fosters loyalty, commitment, and fidelity, making it useful in relationships both romantic and professional. Tanzanite is also resonating with me for your friend-- A relatively new gift from Mother Earth, Tanzanite was first discovered about 30 years ago in Tanzania, Africa, supposedly by a Masai cattle herder. Tanzanite increases communication with the Spiritual world and facilitates access to ancient wisdom, especially to the spiritual knowledge of ancient indigenous tribal cultures. Tanzanite opens the Crown Chakra to show visualizations of higher spiritual realms. Good for spiritual exploration and inner journeys, Tanzanite aids visualization in meditations. Use Tanzanite to deepen guided group meditations. The Throat and Third Eye Chakras are also activated by Tanzanite. Tanzanite facilitates integration between these two Chakras, simultaneously boosting psychic powers and communication, making it easier to communicate visions. The glow of Tanzanite increases your inner light, increasing health and vitality. Tanzanite also reduces stress, helping you to slow down. In the stillness that is created, quieter sides of your personality can emerge, allowing a more balanced state of being. Hope this helps-- Love and light, Cindy
