Guest guest
Dear jin, There are as many ways to charge and cleanse crystals as there are crystals! However, I really like things simple. This is my opinion only... as I am sure there are others that will share their method. Whatever works for you is what you should do. Trust your instincts... that is what they are for. :-) Doing anything with crystals is all about intention. This is my mantra.. intention, intention, intention. What ever method you choose.. intend for the result and it will happen. I will cleanse my crystals with either soap and warm water or simply breath work. In the soap and water I gently run warm water over them and apply some nice quality dish soap. Of course I love them while I am working with them... blessing them for their work they have done and the work they will yet do. Everyone enjoys a compliment. :-) When it comes to charging them. I do that with breath and intention. I breath through them... in a fast pulsed breath intending that they be charged and cleansed at the same time. They seem to respond very well to this. There are some crystals and minerals you won't want to put in water such as Halite (which is a salt mineral) or you wouldn't want to soak selenite for a long time as it will melt. Good luck.. and trust yourself. Guest guest
In my experience, crystals will let you know how they want to be cleaned or discharged. Some like pure, warm water; some like a salt water bath or just to sit in sea salt for a bit. My sodalite especially likes to sit in dirt to be re-charged--I put them in with my plants, or in summer they sit in the garden. Many of my crystals like moonlight baths--sunlight can fade some stones, and it can be very harsh for others. For some, and if I don't have a lot of time, breath and intention will work just fine. Some workers prefer smudging with pure sage smoke. Hope this helps! Love and light, Cindy
Guest guest
Hi Jin, The only thing universal are intentions. On this planet there is a great variety of ways to implement your intention including water, fire, earth air and ether. On this planet of abundance there is no limit ot the ways of discharging and recharging.....variety is the spice of life.
