Guest guest
You sooo know what your talking about when you say stay in control of the negative side of thinking. Lots of folks often get scared of their abilities in the same manner. When you are gifted with these and do not take the time to acknowledge and cultivate them your body (spiritual and physical) resonates at a denser vibration. When you resonate at this vibration it's harder to communicate with your angels, guides, and the Creator. They really have to sort of push the message into your conscious stream, and typically they won't do this unless your in some sort of danger. Folks tend to connect the guidance or messages with negative things happening around them and become scared to use their abilities. If you acknowledge the insights you receive on a daily basis you let a lighter vibration into your body. The more you do this, the more your vibration will shift from a lower frequency to a higher frequency. A frequency more in tune with your angels, guides, and the Creator. Acknowledging these messages is also like saying ok, I'm going to trust spirit knows more then I do, and will guide me down a better path then what I can see. Don't forget we all have free will here! Giving you guidance and messages becomes easier for them when you are more in tune with their vibration, so they don't only guide you under dire circumstances. They begin to give you insights into all the beauty of the universe, and show you how to live a life of joy and passion. After all, we are all put here to shine forth our light of love to others, and how can we do that if we're miserable and unhappy? Do I work with dreamwork? That's like asking if a cat sleeps...lol. I've been working with all sorts of stuff since I was child. I'm one of those blessed with a remembrance of our connection to all. I had a falling out through my teenage years, or what I like to call the sucking out of life through fear based religion, lol. But managed to pull myself back on track shortly after. My aunt was also Dorothy, but we called her Dottie for short. Tell Dottie it was my pleasure to be of help to her, I'll keep you both in my prayers. Guest guest
Hiya Kat, Thanks for this I do have trouble grasping the concept of angels, guides, a creator... so it looks like you have a good point here lol. I'm certainly understanding more and more every day, and working on that connectedness to everything around me. When I was in a crystal healing workshop the other week the tutor said how we're all one body, one being. Humanity is one self. This had me practically shaking in my seat in fear lol I felt protective walls go up, left, right and centre! I thought about it a bit that night and the next day (in the 2nd session of the workshop) I told the tutor my feelings about this - how I understood the concept and could see that it was true, but that it was very frightening for me... that I 'need my space' and individuality, etc. After I had said my bit, the tutor reiterated the concept and suddenly I felt ok... I felt like I could accept the idea that we are all one. As she said, I perhaps needed to express my fear, acknowledge it, and then it started to disappear. I still feel slightly uneasy about the concept, but I can accept it more readily now - it's not as scary as it was! So this is an example of how my thoughts and experience change all the time. It's one helluva journey My main trouble with the whole angels, guides, creator side of things is that I can feel these things, if I let myself... and yes it feels good and cosy! BUT my logical side, my questioning mind won't take a backseat! I just can't get my head around it, and let myself believe. I've mentioned this before in the religion thread - I have to have a balance, I can't fully believe one thing or another. You'd think my star sign was Libra, constantly weighing things up, but it isn't lol! It takes a lot of proof for me to believe something. It's not that I'm narrow-minded... it's the opposite: I question so much! 'Do I work with dreamwork? That's like asking if a cat sleeps...lol.' Rofl Could you give me some examples? I'd love to hear some experiences! (PS I'm in the process of setting up a website, so if you'd like to be my dreamwork guru then let me know off-list! ;o)) I've passed on your best wishes to Dottie She's over the moon with your help. Apparently she's discovered that her illness is not cancerous, so that's a big relief. Talk to you again soon, Katy x On 04/10/2007, esoterickat <EsotericKat wrote: > > You sooo know what your talking about when you say stay in control of > the negative side of thinking. Guest guest
Lol ... you've sure got that right, it is one helluva journey. Reminds me of the dead singing what a looonnnnnggggg strange trip it's beeenn. : ) I do believe the biggest lessons in life radiate from fear, and it's our job to face them. That whole free will thing comes into play here. We can run and hide from the darkness of fear or shine our light of truth on them and watch them disappear. Most of our fears we will realize spring forth from one of two things: 1. Past experiences, or 2. the preconceived notions we have been bombarded by from our society. The ideas of right and wrong which are ingrained in us do not exist. There is no wrong path to take. We are always in our perfect spot, on the path we are meant to be walking. This may seem illogical, but if you take a step back and look at the big picture it all makes perfect sense. If one struggles with a decision between two paths and chooses what in our eyes is wrong, we own inside of us a lesson they have not learned. They choose this path to learn this lesson and improve upon their own wisdom. We have to learn as a society there is not one path for all, yet we are all seeking to find our own path to enlightenment. That state of a higher vibration where we know our own truths which root us deeply in the earth mother. Once we can recognize where our fears spring forth from it becomes a whole lot easier to face them and let them go. What is it about the concept of all being one that is making you " slightly uneasy " ? Your space and individuality which you need, you will always have. This is your free will. Your free will to choose your paths, your thoughts even, is what makes you unique. Though you are a part of this huge creation, no one will ever be exactly like you are, yet you will influence everyone and everything you come into contact with. Let that really sink in. As for the belief in angels, guides and the creator, it is a perfectly logical thing in my mind. Maybe because I was having conversations with them as a child. Maybe because my mind just cannot seem to believe the bull that science teaches us about humans being the only knowledgeable creatures in our universe. (What about the stones? What about the animals?!!!) Maybe because when I look at what science has to offer in terms of medicine, and " evolution " I am disgusted. Maybe because those who have worked with spirit have cured the ill which our hospitals have condemned to death. I could go on and on forever but I'd just make myself heated, and such is not the point. I'm trying to throw some thoughts out there for you to throw around to help you validate what you experience. Another way to look at it could be that if everything on this earth vibrates at a lower frequency then our guides, angels and creator there must be a complementary higher vibration plane because duality and balance is the one theme that is shown to us over and over and over again on this earth. It is good that you question, very good! As a Scorpio (sun and moon) questioning is my second nature. It is also what got me into a whole lot of trouble as a child in catholic school and as an adult in every church I've ever been in.. lol!! It opens your mind to limitless possibilities and this in itself is one of the keys to fulfilling your soul. Imagine for a moment that the impossible is logical and the world of spirit will reveal itself in full glory to you. My dreamwork experiences have varied greatly. Some dreams show people for who they really are, pay attention to what your friends and family do in your dreams. Are they supportive? Do they do things that seem absurd? Can they master the physical world? I once had a dream of my best friend and I on a walk through the city. We were strolling along talking and the next thing I knew we were walking up the side of a building. It showed me that we were both on the same path to higher frequencies disregarding the ideas of the impossible by society. We were being stared at and people pointed and gasped. It was natural for us and we just went on talking, ignoring society as we reached the top of the building and began to fly out across the beautiful skies. We didn't allow others thoughts or opinions to hold us back in the dream, we just smiled at each other in complete knowing. As we flew off into the skies we saw others starting to walk up the building too. It was as if not only did we support each other but in doing so supported others to follow higher paths too. After all we are all one! I was also once engaged to a sailor who was stationed in Japan. He would call me at night and we would talk for about a half hour then hang up and go to sleep. When we both drifted off we would meet under our special tree and continue the conversation where we had left off. This was one of my first experiences in dream traveling. Since then I've been guided by angels and my guide through our universe, visiting other planets and beings traveling ethereal waves through time to my futures and pasts. Visiting loved ones who have past over is always a special treat I look forward to, as our ancestors can give us great advice about our family patterns which need attention to clear our own paths. Mind you. when we clear our own paths of what may be called family burdens, we clear the paths of our relatives and children too! It's a win win situation to be reconnected over coffee with those you love to help your family line. I also believe the best way to start traveling is to ask your angels or guides how you can be of service to those you love. It opens more doors then I'd ever imagined! Yay!! Yay!!! Hoooooray!!! So happy to hear of Dottie's good news! I'll still keep her in my prayers. Much love and many blessings, Kat , " Katy Hill " <kheditorial wrote: > > Hiya Kat, > > Thanks for this I do have trouble grasping the concept of angels, guides, > a creator... so it looks like you have a good point here lol. Guest guest
Kat Thank you!!! for this statement: " Imagine for a moment that the impossible is logical and the world of spirit will reveal itself in full glory to you. " This is just beautiful! I am going to use it to meditate with. I understand your comments about the world of medicine--there are times I walk by a pharmacy counter and want to ask the pharmacists what they are doing to these poor people--putting all kinds of junk into their systems. I think a lot of medicines work on the placebo effect--because patients believe they will work, they do. I'm not completely anti-medicine (not yet, anyway) but it seems to be so limited. As for your comments on being a " questioner " and getting into trouble--keep at it!! Some of us were put here to shake things up!! Thanks again for your beautiful words . . . Guest guest
So very welcome, glad I can share my thoughts with like minded folks. It truly is a blessing! I have seen so many disheartening acts done by our medical system, I can no longer support them. Not only do I think it does humanity a grave disservice, I believe it encourages society to give up each individuals responsibility for thier own health. They realize that we are dependant upon them when it comes down to our health and that is just the way they want it. We have let them take our own power away so they can get rich, and it unnerves every cell of my body! ::deep breath:: Ok, I'm done with my little rant now. I think I'll go shake up something else! : ) Lots of love and many blessings to you, Kat , " cindy_midcalf " <cindy_midcalf wrote: > > Kat > > Thank you!!! for this statement: > > " Imagine for a moment that the impossible is logical and > the world of spirit will reveal itself in full glory to you. Guest guest
I've had what a friend of my sister calls psychic dreams. It'll be a scene in my daily life of whatever, and I won't realize it until later on in a week or month when it happens for real, that it was the same as my dream. Maybe I should look into stones good for sleeping too and dreaming. Guest guest
Hi Cherri, When you work or resonate with crystals you are working with vibrational resonance and healing. One way to affect a healing its to give it what stabilizes it or address it's dysfunction. With diabetes low chromium is often found and often prescribed as a stabilizer for it's symptoms. Therefore using a gemstone high in Chromium would be a good match to heal. Emerald is frequently reccommended as it has a high chromium content, which vibrates blue-green on the chromatographic scale, and will help to balance the the chromium in your system and get it working at it's utmost level. Chromium has a positive effect on the Blood Sugar Levels. Chromium is a micronutrient and has an impact on ampliying insulin in the blood stream. Research has shown that 50 percent of diabetics have a marked improvment with taking chromium. From a nurtitional standpoint it is recommended to take a B complex that inclueds chromium as you should never try to self-diagnos how much to take and they integrate better with the B vitamins. From a vibrational standpoint wearing an emerald....with the back open....as clear as possible...would be my gemstone pick. Skye Coe also mention using Stevia as a sweetner replacement and I highly agree...also Agave nectar has been shown to be beneficial. There is an herbal formula callled inula, specific for diabetes that you may want to check into. Many people have competely reversed diabetes...so there is good word out there. Again you may want to look at the company I recommended for sea vegetables before ...for one of there multiples with chromium...they are loaded with sea vegetables which is also helpful and not as easy to eat in the quantity needed. Their name is Wachters.com Blessings and Best to you, Dawn Silver, DN Jewels of the Lotus Oracle venus2578 wrote: In a message dated 10/8/2007 9:13:56 P.M. Guest guest
Hi... have not posted here yet. for the person with the questions about diabetes, please be aware diabetes is curable - yes! (i have no idea what crystal would help, however!) ....i happen to be a complimentary health practitioner. a switch to mostly raw or lightly steamed vegetables, eating several small meals thoughout the day rather than 3 squares keeps your blood sugar levels constant and reduces reliance on prescription drugs as well as hunger cravings. daily use of cinnamon, bitter melon, swiss chard, juicing vegetables, taking the appropriate supplements and lots of daily exercise like just walking, tai chi, qigong or yoga and pure clean water is a start. avoiding white bread, pasta, white rice, cakes, pies, cookies, diet anything with aspartame or splenda is an excellent place to start. there are other supplements as well that can help reduce dependence on metformin, insulin, etc. i know that's not a crystal..but hope it helps. ........'The more You Know, the less you need'....the older I get the less I know... Guest guest
I add my vote for cinnamon bark--you can get it in capsule form at most grocery or big-box drug stores like WalMart, and also at health stores. It helps to regulate your blood sugar, to avoid the spikes and lows. As far as crystals, aventurine is an all-purpose healer. You may want to " shop " for what you need by holding a crystal and feeling whether it is calming for you. I would really tune in to what your physical body is telling you--get rid of your fear and become your body's caretaker. Eat healthy foods when you feel hungry in your gut, eat slowly, and don't feel that you need to finish anything--stop when you have the fuel you need. You may enjoy rose quartz for its loving care and calming properties. Wishing you health and contentment- Cindy
Guest guest
Slow down, slow down, slow down! Learn to accept your emotions and pay attention to what they are trying to tell you. Our emotions are a sort of filter for our perceptions, let them pass through you and step back to look at them logically. Ask each emotion what it is trying to tell you. Feel less, and use your intuition more at least once a week. Your feelings are a strong intuition point for you, but have been blocked up for too long. Let them flow and a new world will open up to you. Green tourmaline, feldspar, and malachite will all aid you in your diabetes, but you should also try to find some rose quartz and amethyst to sleep with and carry with you. Eat Garlic, and lots of it at least three times a week. Cucumbers will help to balence out the blood sugar, the more the better, but keep at it regularly. Stay away from pork and red meat as much as possible, these will compound your problems. Eat lots of broiled seafood, fowl, crisp greens, whole grains, peaches and dates. Red clover tea should be taken every night before bed. This will help you not only to see your emotions clearer, but will help with the diabetes. Other herbs that will help you are dandelion, horsetail, fennel, goldenseal, pipsissewa, and yarrow. If you can get your paws on some eucalyptus oil, massage this around your second dorsal. Put on a drumming cd and relax. Listen to how the drum beats all work together and tune into feeling the harmony. This will do wonders for you. Wishing you many blessings, and leagues of angels to aid you, Kat > > I often get frustrated with all the meds I take. Guest guest
Hi. I'm fairly new here and have just been browsing thru' the back posts on Lung disease/Intuition. I don't know what it's called but I have always had it. I get flashes of what is to come.I will get a vision of something and it will happen. Sometimes I don't realise until it actually happens. It'll happen and I'll think, no, that happened a few days ago, and then I'll realise that I must have had a vision and not realised it. I have dreams that when I awaken I don't realise that it's a dream and then when it happens it spins me out because I am quite sure that it's already happened...My daughter told me that she was in a night club and a young girl had overdosed on drugs in the toilets and that security had carried her out sitting in a chair so the other patrons wouldn't know she was dead. A week later a friend came over and was telling me that a foster daughter of a friend had died of an overdose in toilets at a nightclub and they had carried her out in a chair. I just sat there and thought, it's not possible for it to have happened twice and rang my daughter and asked her about the drug overdose she told me about. She said " Mum. I didn't tell you that. You've been dreaming again. " That sort of dream happens a lot. It's not that I don't remember them. It's not until it actually happens and I think, no thats already happened that I realise it was a dream I had carried over into my waking life. Lately I have been seeing things from the past... A friend and I were going to the city and I said I would show her this really lovely house that was on the way. It was empty and I had spotted it driving past a few weeks back. I was thinking of approaching the owner about renting it as a place to get away to. When we got to the house it was a derelict ruin! I hadn't seen it like that until then. I had seen it as it used to be. That's been happening a lot as well. I see people dressed in clothing that they haven't owned for years or living somewhere they lived years ago! Seeing things from the past???? Having dreams and visions and then not realising that it was a dream??? I have taken to wearing Laboradite and Malachite and I have a piece of sodalite that asked to be placed by my bed. I also wear amethyst and Lapis. Does anyone have any ideas as to why I would be seeing the past and having dreams and visions I don't realise as being dreams and visions. Is there a stone that would help with this? Ps. I also see spirits and sometimes they talk to me. A friend was telling me about her childhood and I could see this very sad old lady. She wanted me to tell my friend that she was sorry for the life she had led. When I described this old lady it turned out to be my friends granny. And no, I don't take drugs! I sure would like to know what is going on tho' Katwytch -- In , venus2578 wrote: > > I've had what a friend of my sister calls psychic dreams. Guest guest
This is exactly what happens to me! When " real life " catches up to me, I think that it's a replay. I have accepted it better recently, and find myself " grounding " and staying calm during the replay. Time is, after all, just a construction for our convenience, so we can make sense out of the world. I think for some of us, our experiences during sleep are not bound by time. They are every bit as real as waking life, though--at least for me. I haven't experienced spirits while I was awake, but it seems this lady's granny really wanted to apologize to her. Good that you were there and could pass on the message. I made a bracelet of smoky quartz and black tourmaline that I wear when I'm a bit frazzled with the dreams. It calms me and settles me. Hope your crystal friends do the same for you! Love and light, Cindy
