Guest guest
Hi Cindy Yes it's very different to deja-vu isn't it? When I've had dreams that match/relate to something that happens the next day, just small things, I can remember that they were actual dreams. The flash that my mum had with the grapes in the car before her accident was different again. I haven't had that... just deja-vu which is common. I keep being told atm that I'm intuitive... it's great to hear this because it gives me more faith in myself and my abilities ;o) It's good you've reached that smiling phase too! It's bizarre, but really cool - nothing to be afraid of. Pretty hard to explain to other people tho! On a similar track: I often have connection moments with other people that I know well, where we say exactly the same thing at the same time, or think random similar thoughts, or move to do something in the same way at precisely the same time. I realise some of this is only natural when you know someone well, but sometimes it feels like there's more to it - especially with the thinking random similar thoughts together. None of this is controlled, it just seems to happen occasionally. It's quite odd but amusing and fun! I don't think this is about coincidences either - I feel it's about naturally making a deep connection with someone, on an unconscious level. Have fun Katy x On 04/10/2007, cindy_midcalf <cindy_midcalf wrote: > > I SO relate to this discussion. Guest guest
Katy Good to know that there are others who are hearing/seeing on a higher frequency! It's almost the way dogs hear things that are beyond our ability to hear--some of us are attuned to others and " hear " beyond the normal range. The thing with your mom and the grapes--I get those all the time. Just little " jumps " into what will happen next. I am finally comfortable paying attention to them and following them somewhat. They seem to be just little flashes, though. Sometimes very insistent suggestions to do something or go somewhere or other that was not in my plan for the day. I am learning to pay attention . . . sometimes I think I am the slowest student in the universe. The dreams are different for me. My deja-vu times will sometimes be 5-10 minutes long in waking life, and I know what the upcoming conversations will be because I have heard them before. Like I said, a little freaky, but I'm accepting the experiences better now. I'm so glad to be able to share this! Have a blessed day- Cindy
Guest guest
Oooo I've just remembered something else, Cindy My boyfriend says how I have this uncanny memory for where to find items around the house. When I'm asked whether something obscure is I either get a flash picture in my head or just a feeling telling me where it is. I never noticed that I did this before I met my bf. He always chuckles - hee hee! There are a lot of things that I can't remember for the life of me - dates, ages and films are the main ones - but these memories are different. I think it's the same part of my brain that I use in my work. I'm a proofreader/editor, and I trust my instincts in a lot of the work I do. I spot inconsistencies using this memory tool - again, either little flashes or just a feeling that I've seen this information slightly different somewhere else. I don't think all proofreaders/editors work in this way. Anyway, I'm not sure whether this is moving away from the original concept - psychic abilities - or whether this is just how my brain works. It's hard to tell the difference - and there's probably no right or wrong answer. But it's fun anyway. Yes it's great to share this sort of thing too. Guest guest
Glad I could be of help Cindy. I feel if you are going to use labradorite though, you should place some malachite or tigers eye about an inch or so below it. This will help you tune into those waves but ground them into the material plane. Much love and many blessings, Kat , " cindy_midcalf " <cindy_midcalf wrote: > > I SO relate to this discussion. Guest guest
Had to add in that I too don't remember dates ages or films well. From what I understand it's because some folks see past these illusions to the bigger picture. Films are only another's daydream, most very negative. Dates are a man made idea, because in reality there is no time. Ages too are a man made idea because most of us are millions of years old though we've inhabited many different forms and many different planes of existence during our lifetimes. Logically we understand these ideas because society functions from within this set of preconceived notions. But spiritually we know better and override the " insignificant " . ~Kat , " Katy Hill " <kheditorial wrote: > > Oooo I've just remembered something else, Cindy My boyfriend says how I > have this uncanny memory for where to find items around the house. Guest guest
Thanks so much for the grounding advice. I sometimes forget to ground, which gets me into trouble.
