Guest guest
Hello everyone, i just joined in this group, i've been drawn to crytals for the past few years, and i am very much attracted to moldavite. But it seems that, there isnt much information on moldavite,i hope to have feedback from the group members or any other information that could enrich my very limited knowledge. i am currently using moldavite as a pendant and i feel very good, energetic, and could easily slip into meditation anytime. Thank you jasyindar
Guest guest
I purchaced some Moldavite that was packaged in a small ziploc type back. When I opened it at home I didn't have any reaction to it but I thought it was me. , " Sally " <cozgolf wrote: > > Moldavite is a stone of extremely high vibration. Guest guest
I'm not sure if it is safe in water, i didn't try it because it is fragile. What i do is smudge it with sage, or blow on it ( hard blows to remove negative energy) and then leave it in full moon light or sun light for as long as i can. Guest guest
Here is what i have on Moldavite. It is said it is from extraterestrial origins. It is rare. It can increase the properties of other stones. It helps rise your vibrations. It helps connect with cosmic consciouness. Grounding is important after using it. It is soothing for the heart chakra, it helps us accept our journey on earth. For the brow chakra it helps channeling. In healing it helps uncover the cause of deseases and guides us to work on the emotional cause of the illness. It reduces toxin sentivities. very powerfull stone, i actualy know someone who faints when she is in contact with one, again grounding is very important. Guest guest
HI, Moldavites are tektites that occurred during metoeric impact and fell to the earth near the Moldau River in the Czech Republic. They are green silica compunds with iron and in some berrylium. The iron brings this silica compund down thru the atmosphere of earth as the natural formation of silica is to grow up and out (consciousness) than ground (potential materialism). So here we have this relationship between the heavens and earth making moldavite a perfect intermediary stone for communication (silica is the communications mineral) between two worlds. Robert Simmons of Heaven and Earth wrote a great book on it many years ago. I am not aware of the softness of moldavite as I believe it would be the same as quartz but I may be wrong. When to or not to soak a gem in salt water is dependant on the relationship to the two substances. Quartz is definately harder (Moh's Scale of Hardness) than water so theoretically water will not scratch its surface. This is not the case with diamond and diamond will scratch the surface of quartz, ruby, topaz...and so on, as they are softer than diamond. Quartz can scratch the surface of malachite and so malachite is softer than quartz. Fluorite is soft and its surface will be affected by salt water so never soak your fluorites in salt water. Talc is amoung the softest gemstones and you could never soak it without losing it. As for stones that are self cleaning I never got the mechanisms on that. I do know that thought and attention can direct cleansing...or anything else. But can someone explain to me how a citrine becomes self cleaning. It is of the quartz family and everyone cleansing quartz and ametheyst and smokeys. I just want to know where the info came from and what the explaination is for it.. I do know that what you believe and perceive is...law for you....and from there I get the citrine self cleansing mechanisms. I just want to know the hows. Blessings and a bountiful day to everyone...everywhere, Dawn Silver Jewels of the Lotus Tibetan Gemstone Oracle jmail1950 <jmail1950 wrote: I purchaced some Moldavite that was packaged in a small ziploc type back. Guest guest
There's actually a whole book on Moldavite by Richard Simons (The Book of Stones author; you'll notice in BoS that he constantly says various stones work well with moldavite). I was really intrigued by the stone and scored a nice piece two summers ago- be warned it's expensive and you really should compare pieces to understand why the more textured and darker pieces cost more (75 -150 bucks is not unreasonable). Since then, however, I've rarely used it at all. Its most potent function is to aid those who feel like they don't quite fit here (on this planet, in this world)- call 'em star people or outsiders or new souls, whatever you wish- but being a jasper fiend and generally very grounded person, I'm just not drawn to it. In fact I'm sending it to a soul sister who has a much graeter need and a lot more interest (I'll take a big chunk of ocean jasper instead thank!) agatebleu <agatebleu wrote: Here is what i have on Moldavite. Guest guest
Hello, there is an excellent book out on Moldavite by Robert Simmons and Kathy Warner with an introduction by Jean Houston. The book is called MOLDAVITE starborn stone of transformation... It is put out by Heaven and Earth Publishing and the ISBN: 0-9621910-0-0 It was first published in 1988. Enjoy it, I sure did....
