Guest guest
Hi PeakCrystals Many thanks for your excellent advice! I love the idea of a crystal layout around my bed or bedroom. I hadn't thought of this, but had been considering something for my office. Do you have any particular layouts in mind? Turns out that my bf is also having big trouble sleeping at the moment, so we probably keep waking each other up too! If I could find a layout that'll create the right energy in the bedroom for deep sleep it would help both of us. At the moment I have lots of little hematite tumblestones, plus lots of tiger's eye, sodalite, rose quartz, rhodochrosite, blue lace agate and carnelian tumblestones, one small cluster of smokey quartz, one tumblestone of smokey quartz, a cluster of magnetite (I do have 2, but one's gone walkies!), lots of clear quartz points. I think this is my main relevant collection (have lots of amethyst too but this doesn't help me sleep!), so anything that includes these would be great, so i could come up with something sooner rather than later. But i'd obviously be interested to hear of other layouts, because my collection is by no means ending here! Such wise words across the board, I really liked your email I will try the things you've mentioned. Out of interest, with something like a carnelian layout, are there specific places I should put my crystals, and does it matter that they're tumblestones? I haven't done a layout before, just worked directly on the chakras for a chakra healing, but would love to know how to do this. Very wise words re the stress thing too, listening to the body, taking a break. I finally finished all my work on Friday and have the whole bank hol off! I haven't had a day off in about a month, so I'm taking it as easy as possible. I don't want to have to go through this again, so when I'm back to work on Tuesday I'll be trying to strike a balance. I've missed me! PS I am currently putting together some material for a crystal website. Would you be interested in writing about layouts? All fully acknowledged. Let me know - contact me offlist if you like Thank you so much, Katy On 25/08/07, peakcrystals <peakhealing wrote: > > Hi Katy > > I think you have been given some very good advice already, so I have just > topped it up and > added some more: > > 1. Guest guest
Hi Katy With regard to a layout, I would suggest you use your intuition, when choosing and placing your stones. However I would omit magnetite, this is one stone that can really effect the polarity of the body. Personally it whizzes me up, makes me dizzy and helps me take off. Completely ungrounding. With layouts you can allow yourself to be guided by your intuition, to choose the correct stones and the correct placement. Hold the intend of what your aim is, e.g. we would like to have some calm uninterrupted sleep. Look at your crystals and pick those which you are immediately drawn to. Do not worry about which ones you have chosen. Don't concern yourself about the placement either; they can go on or around the body, in straight lines, or patterns. Remembering too that points direct energy flow. Stay in your layout for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Remove the stones, check you are grounded, and don't forget to cleanse them. The carnelian layout can be left on longer, ie all night, and this will help repair the aura. I normally place three tumble stones down each side, and two top and bottom. It is also good to hold a couple in each hand. However you do tend to wake up wondering what is digging you in the side !!! Protection grids too, can be left in place until you feel they are no longer required, around any room. The workplace is an ideal environment to set a room grid, lots of different energies, very competitive etc. Small pieces will do fine. Would love to help with some write up. I am in the process of trying to start an online crystal dictionary. Some of the crystal books are very expensive and I feel sure there is a need for a wikki that we can all add to and have access to for free. www.crystal- dictionary.com > > Hi PeakCrystals > > Many thanks for your excellent advice! > > I love the idea of a crystal layout around my bed or bedroom. Guest guest
Many thanks for all this info, Carla. I wonder with hematite whether it makes you feel like that because it's trying to clear you of a blockage or something? When I first picked up hematite it made me feel very dizzy, the ground was moving and I felt drunk! Eventually I let the hematite do its work, and now it grounds me when I pick it up without the weird experiences. Maybe you could try sitting with a piece whilst having a big rock of your favourite grounding stone between your feet? Might help you feel safer while working through it? Of course it could just be that it's not the stone for you at this time ;o) But thought I'd raise this as a possibility given my prior hematite experience. At the moment I keep seeing myself surrounded by just grounding stones, so maybe I'm trying to tell myself something! Wish I had more big rocks! One of my favourites has disappeared, and I really could do with upping my collection. Will have to wait until I get paid tho Would it work to create a layout around the bed, on the floor so we don't kick the crystals out by accident, and lie on them etc? Although I'm used to sleeping with crystals my boyfriend isn't - at least on his side! I'd like to be able to put down a layout for the whole night - would it be possible to do this with any crystals? Or maybe I'm thinking of a protection grid. I haven't worked with these either. Are grids a set pattern or do I use my intuition here as well? Thanks!
