Guest guest
Hello All! does anyone have any information on stones that may help with migraines and sinus headaches? I have used amethyst and that helps somewhat. Just wondering if there is something else. Possibly tuning forks? Any help is appreciated! thanks Kerry

When really bothering me I will lay with smokeu quartz and moss agate on my face (third eye and/or over the sinuses). They give me relief. Hope you can find the combination that works for you. Guest guest
I've found the best help is to massage the temples with Hematite. Guest guest
I have a small satin pillow filled with Infinite pebbles that works wonders!!!! I use it for all kinds of aches and pains. INFINITE- The Healers Stone Infinite is a stone of loving, angelic energy that draws out anything negative we manifest in our bodies, whether physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. Its strength is in its gentleness, which may help it succeed where a more powerful stone will not work to break through an energy barrier. Healers (such as Reiki and massage therapists) have found that Infinite helps their clients to achieve deeper relaxation and states of meditation. They have also found that it pulls pain out of the body, and clears chakras. Infinite can relieve chronic fatigue and aid in tissue regeneration. It is so helpful for so many conditions that it has been called the penicillin of the mineral world. Because it is so good at drawing out pain and thusly negativity, Infinite may need to be cleansed often. (We recommend smudging with white sage.) Use a small piece of Infinite as a worry stone, put a larger piece next to or under your pillow for more restful sleep, and try using extra large pieces as massage tools. You'll be amazed at the results! Walk In Light, Debra kerry vigil <kiddo0111 wrote: Hello All! does anyone have any information on stones that may help with migraines and sinus headaches? Guest guest
Hi Kerry, Rhodochrosite often helps me with a headache/migraine. It apparently opens up the blood vessels, which is why it's good for migraines. I find that placed around my sinuses I get an opening-out feeling, and can breathe more easily. I also use it on my temples (sometimes lightly stroking the pain away) and along my jawline or back of my neck - depending on where the tension paths go. Can you also get someone to give you a shoulder massage? (preferably with some rhodochrosite too?) as migraines stem from tension a lot of the time, and your shoulders hold a lot of that tension. Something else unrelated to crystals. When I have a migraine, if I lie in a dark room to try and make it better - which is all I feel like doing - my migraine stays / and gets worse because I'm thinking about it. Although this will be the last thing you feel like doing, try getting up and going outside and doing something you enjoy - like gardening, visiting some animals, walking in a wood - something that will bring the fresh air into your body and take your mind off your migraine. These are all very therapeutic things to do. I wish you lots of luck with getting rid of your migraine. Don't give up hope - you'll find the right solution for you some time. Guest guest
It sounds like you are sensitive to energies, find someone who know cranial sacral work. Or do the slow soft work on you ocipital its the ridge on your skull were all the muscles attach to the back of your neck. Soft squeeze of the muscle doing yourself letting go. sending magenta to any tight spots asking the pain to release. Stones carry tourmaline helps centering, also apache tears for releasing fears. hope this helps\ Edward Carla <peakhealing wrote: , " kerry vigil " <kiddo0111 wrote: > > Hello All! does anyone have any information on stones that may help > with migraines and sinus headaches? Guest guest
Thanks Edward. That pretty much describes me perfectly! I am also a stress monster! I broke down and went to the Dr. about 2 years ago due to a three week headache. I ended up in physical therapy because I get three types of headaches that build on each other; stress, sinus and migraine. They did a lot of the work you described on the base of my skull. The therapist also put ice at the base of skull and that helps. I keep a supply of ice packs in the freezer at work and at home and have the empi tens unit. I also store alot of stress in my shoulders and have a huge knot that likes it under my shoulder blade. I found a group of energy workers and started attending their gatherings and ALWAYS end up with a pounding headache! Seems I also forget to ground. Reiki and massage helps tremendously. I will try the tourmaline. Any particular color? I have watermelon, black and brown. I carry an apache tear in my bag during the week but not on the weekends. Will have to remember to use it on the weeknds. , EDWARD BEYER <innerquest3838 wrote: > > It sounds like you are sensitive to energies, find someone who know cranial sacral work. Guest guest
Hi Kerry- We sensitives can pick up and store a lot of other people's stress sometimes. It may help to have a specific time in your day to take a break and " de-junk " your mind and heart. Look at a peaceful sight, such a fire, water, the sky or the earth, and breathe slowly. As you breathe out, imagine the unnecessary weights that have attached themselves to you floating away to the fire or the water, up to the sky or down to Mother Earth. You don't need to carry those weights--you are light and free and in harmony with all that is. This doesn't have to take long, and it becomes easier as you practice it daily. As far as crystals, try different ones until you feel the one that helps you. I find citrine to be very good for me, transmuting negative to positive energy. Also, smoky quartz seems to keep me peaceful and keep negative junk at bay. Black tourmaline works for me as well. Hope this helps-- Love and Light, Cindy > Thanks Edward. Guest guest
Thanks Cindy. This helps alot. It is hard to remember to take that time for ourselves when life intrudes! I have been much better lately. I had my spine adjusted by an energy healer and I feel like a new person! I also attended a class basically named ENERGY 101. I have a new mind set that seems to be working and I ground alot. Thanks so much for your suggestions I have all those stones and will experiment to see what works best for me. , " cindy_midcalf " <cindy_midcalf wrote: > > Hi Kerry- > > We sensitives can pick up and store a lot of other people's stress > sometimes.
