Guest guest
For you personally the Rose Quartz induces telepathy with this male friend. Guest guest
Aloha Jin, Each of us comes into the others lives for a reason, not necessarily for companionship or as a lover, but to mirror for us some lesson we are ready to learn. Your intuition will guide you to the answer your heart is asking. Rose quartz is often about opening your heart to receiving love, different than a green stone such as Aventurine more conducive to working with grief or issues from past. Using them together can be a very healing as they support each other. Here is piece from our website found under A-Z Stone properties. ROSE QUARTZ--Clear to cloudy translucent pale to medium pink. Aids development of love, forgiveness and compassion, including same directed toward self. Reduces stress, tension, allows for release of stored anger, jealousy, fear, guilt. Enhances self-confidence, creativity. Eases sexual, emotional imbalances, increases fertility. Available in both Regular and Premium grades. Regular is generally a cloudy pale to medium pink, milkier in appearance than premium. 4th, All Chakras. AVENTURINE, GREEN--Opaque medium green, sometimes with reddish hematite content. All-purpose healer, it protects heart, initiates deep healing of physical body and organs. Heals, soothes emotional pain. Helps resolve and heal past hurts and angers on deep emotional level. 2nd, 3rd, 4th Chakras. A friend of mine falls asleep with a Rose Quartz heart over his heart every night. No matter how many times it falls off during sleep his hand always knows exactly where to find the piece of Rose Quartz. This has been happening for months and has never failed to be correct. He finds this amusing. Those of us who work with these beauties, know how accurate and wise their guidance can be an just smile whenever he tells this story. Enjoy your new companion. Blessings! Guest guest
Jin- > About two weeks ago, I put a rose quartz under my pillow to help me sleep but I noticed that I have had dreams of a male friend of mine, most every night for two weeks. What does this really mean > I tend to stay away from offering my interpretations of dreams others dream, because dreaming is such a personal and intimate language. What the dream means to you may be different than what it means to me, and I wouldn't want my interpretation to taint your own dance of understanding. If I were having these dreams, and was unclear about what they meant, I'd sit with the Rose Quartz Elder, offer some prayers for clarification and understanding, make some small offerings (to honor that you're asking for support, to keep things balanced, to honor the balance of giving and receiving) and then sit in listening. See what this spirit shares, see where your feelings take you. The head may not be very helpful, as dreams are often a non-linear dance, and our mind can only travel in a straight line. The heart, however, knows all languages, including the tongues of dreaming. So listening from the heart, listening to your feelings, may lead you to some understanding. Some other spirits that could join the Rose Quartz Elder, while dreaming and while awake, to bring some clarity include Bloedite, New York Herkimer Diamonds, Lavender Calcite, Natural Turquoise and Blue Tiger's Eye. The Green Elders Lavender and Rose also dance together beautifully, helping to bring us clarity around dreaming, with the clarity emerging sweetly from the heart. I hope the above is helpful to you in some way. Guest guest
Someone suggested that my friend needed " healing " and this is why I had so many dreams about him. Guest guest
Fabeku, Although a novice to stones and their energies, and trying to come to terms with the elders who might govern those stones, this response you gave on the rose quartz was fascinating. In this section you mention a small offering. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this one. How do you give an offering to stone or to a spirit? Is it as simple as offering appreciation for what you're about to learn? I have recently been drawn to stones and in my heart I know they have a huge part to play or maybe they've played a huge part before that I'm somehow remembering. How did you begin this journey of understanding? jayne > If I were having these dreams, and was unclear about what they meant, > I'd sit with the Rose Quartz Elder, offer some prayers for > clarification and understanding, make some small offerings (to honor > that you're asking for support, to keep things balanced, to honor the > balance of giving and receiving) and then sit in listening. Is it as simple as offering appreciation for what you're about to learn? > Giving offerings to the stone spirits, to honor them as great Elders and great teachers, can be simple or complex. And different spirits may request different offerings, so, I feel, listening is the best way to approach this. Some examples of simple, small offerings include a pinch of Cornmeal or Sacred Tobacco, a sprinkle of Cool Water (assuming, of course, that the stone spirit isn't sensitive to water), a bit of dried herbs or dried flowers, etc. One can also drum, rattle, sing and/or dance with the stone spirits as well, offering them the medicine of sound and movement. And if you find yourself in a position of wanting to give an offering, but you don't have Cornmeal or Tobacco or a rattle or a drum, then give an offering of your breath, or offer a small piece of your hair. You'll notice that the above are all tangible things. Some people, when they first approach this practice, ask why do we need to give physical offerings to the spirits? The answer is simple. These Elders offer us so much support - so much tangible, real, practice, rooted support in our life. We give back what we have received, or what we hope to receive. So we give back something physical and tangible, because the support the stone spirits give to us is so tangible and real. In this way, we maintain a balanced relationship with the spirits, which naturally opens the way to deeper listening and richer relationships. Giving our thanks and appreciation is important. It's one of the foundations of any good relationship - being able to say " thank you " . And this is, I feel, a good and blessed part of giving offerings, something that enhances, rather than replaces a tangible offering. The simple act of giving offerings is, I feel, something that moves us beyond the idea of " stones as tools " and ushers us into a space of sacred relationship, one where the truth of " stones as spirits " can be more easily felt and more fully experienced. It is also a cornerstone of the sacred relationships we establish with these Elders. > ....or maybe they've played a huge part before that I'm somehow remembering. > I really like how you have expressed this. There's a beauty about how you shared this. Thank you. > How did you begin this journey of understanding? I have had a deep fondness for the stone spirits for as long as I can remember. My journey, which began from the place of " stones as tools " , has shifted to a road rooted in listening, allowing listening to lead the way to MORE! My path is in indigenous shamanism, and the time I have spent with indigenous Elders, learning the wisdom of the Earth, has offered some fundamental support to my dances with the Earth Elders. It's no surprise that the stone spirits are sacred in virtually every earth-based culture around the world. <grin> They are keepers of some truly amazing medicine, as so many of us here have recognized. I hope the above is helpful to you in some way. Guest guest
Fabeku, I loved this post. I too believe crystals are alive, I had experiences with them to lead me to this, but I had wondered what one could offer them in return for their love and guideance besides love. Guest guest
I loved it, too! Thank you so much for taking the time for such a detailed response. I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner. We've encountered some medical crises here recently with the dogs and that has taken all my attention! jayne , " kari john " <john.kari1 wrote: > > Fabeku, I loved this post. Guest guest
I hope your dogs are ok now Jayne. My yellow jasper, two thulites and my turquoise were working very hard last night to help my GERD condition. I thanked them of course Fabeku and put them under water this morning, When I get home I was thinking of putting them in a circle/spiral of dried rose petals I keep for rituals. It is Beltaine today, so blessings of the Sun to everyone! On Thu, May 1, 2008 at 1:37 AM, briarwoodpups <briarwoodpups wrote: > I loved it, too!
