The lower left blue stone IS called turquoise :-) Without the stones being numbered in the picture, it is hard to tell you which each one is. I can identify many of them but can't point to them for you in person so that you know. If you have the money, is would be a good idea to invest a little into some books on rocks and I don't just means ones that go into the spiritual/energy nature of them. I am talking the scientific identification kind such as: 1. _Smithsonian Handbooks: Rocks & Minerals (Smithsonian Handbooks)_ (http://www.amazon.com/Smithsonian-Handbooks-Rocks-Minerals/dp/0789491060/ref=pd\ _bbs_sr_1/104-6062009-8209507?ie=UTF8 & s=books & qid=1185637450 & sr=1-1) by Chris Pellant (Paperback - Sep 1, 2002) 2. Guest guest
Can anyone help to identify the stones that are pictured on the front page. I have a few that look like some of those that I found but don't know what they are. Escpecially the one in the lower left that is turqoise in color. I know the one I have is not turquoise, but it looks like the one in the pic. I'm kind of an amature rock collector to. When my BF and I go somewhere (I live in the sticks) and there is a gravel driveway and I see something, I tend to spend my time looking through the rocks instead of going inside. I can't help it. The rocks just seem to draw my attention even away from something else I wanted to do. LOL. Can anyone help me with the Pic? Diane
