How sad! My sincere sympathies. My husband's best and nearest friend was killed

in Oct. 1973 on the Golan Heights fighting the Syrians and another close friend

was killed on the Egyptian front. Although 34 years passed since the war he's

never stopped grieving - his broken heart will never be complete again. People

don't realize that war isn't victory celebrations but endless lifelong pain for

the nearest and dearest of those killed.

 

May Daniel Noble's soul rest in peace!

Mara and Corpsman Noble's family will be in my thoughts and prayers. My son,

who is in Iraq, came awfully close to an IED a few months back. He was bruised

and had partial hearing loss, but luckily he is still on this side. The first

thing he asked when he phoned is Mom, how do I recharge my crystals again? We

are hoping he will be back before the end of the year. My other son will be

going back in September. I figure I can catch up on my sleep when they get

home!
