I visited my brother's family last weekend and am very much afraid my nephew is

anorexic. Any suggestions for stones that could help heal his relationship

with food?

TIA.

I recommend the stone blue apatite...it calms the nervous compulsion and helps

one to feel satisfied...also in combination with aventurine.

Hello Martha,

I am not at all suggesting that I am any sort of authority on stones for

anorexia but my teacher always spoke of issues with food as being rooted in 1st

and 2nd chakra imbalances ......food, nurishing our bodies grounds us, denying

that keeps us from having to touch the memories there. So I would recommend

grounding gems of the lower chakras. Hematite, Black Tourmaline, red jasper.

smokey quartz.... The other people here have many years of stone wisdom on my me

so I'll sit down now and let them spread the word, I just wanted to add my

thoughts.

Thank you!

with light,

Erica in Portland, OR

Greetings, Happy Summer Solstice!!!!

I would use -

Rose quartz as it is a very loving stone and also helps with weight control.

Jasper being a powerful physical healer.

Well my first thought would be red and orange stones

for the root and sacral. the reason for this being if

someone Isnt eating then this like a purposeful attack

on aspects of the root dealing with basic needs like

nourishment being met. also there is a certain element

of sensuality in enjoying food so depriving yourself

of food could also be related to the sacral. the

person should work from the bottom up. this is just my

opinion
