Unopened Geodes

I have been wanting to get some unopened geodes for some time now and I just put

a bid in on a box of them on ebay.

I have no explanation as to why I feel I need these. Does anyone have any

wisdom to share about unopened geodes? If I had to opine, I'd say I'm attracted

by their potential--the mystery of what's in there. I'm not sure if I want to

open them or not--maybe just sit with them and try to tune in to them.

Hi Martha,

I have recently purchased a couple huge ones; 6 " & 8 " along with a couple

tennis ball sized ones from Indiana... I also felt the need to have them. I

originally thought I was supposed to crack them open, but once they got here

they said no. One big one is in the middle of my gem circle... the others feel

the need to be in my garden. I love the energy they give off!

Good luck bidding!

Well, I won! My mailman will probably not be happy. <g>

I'll sit with them when they get here and see how I feel about opening them. If

I did, what would be the least traumatizing way to do it? Do some of them want

to be opened so that they can show the world the treasures inside?

And...? Is there a better way to open them? Or are you saying they should not

be opened?
