Guest guest
Hi all, I am in the process of laying a labyrinth on my property and wanted to do a clearing/protection grid. My thought was to use a stone in each corner and tie them together with a stone in the center. I have a stone from the property that my husband found just the other day that I want to use, a quartz, milky, almost rose color. Any suggestions for the others? Thanks diosa

Any suggestions for the others? I would definitely use amethyst (third eye stone), smokey quartz (protection and repelling of negative energies) and clear quartz (amplifying energies) and selenite (cleansing and charging), rose quartz (love of self and universe). The rose quartz would be great at the center ... the heart. Blessings to your eve all, ReNau

It is interesting that you are drawn to use dark grounding stones. I am not sure what a *shaman's stone* looks like, although I have probably seen them. Does it get called by any other name? Is it also a dark more grounding stone? Blessings to your day all. ReNau
Guest guest
ReNau, Thanks for your reply. I asked my stones who wanted to go into the grid and one of my shaman stones practically knocked me over so I am going to use it. I also picked a smoky quartz, a piece of onyx, one of snowflake obsidian, and hematite. So I'm thinking of tying the four together with the shaman stone in the center. I may change a couple of the outside stones but I am definitely using the shaman stone. Laying the grid tomorrow afternoon. We both picked a smoky quartz. :-) If anyone else has any other suggestions I would love to hear them. Thanks diosa
Guest guest
Aloha Diosa. . We have 4 labyrinths on our tiny island. a person to connect with involving the creation of one is www.evehogan.com. I'm sure she'd be happy to assist or answer questions. My intuitive sense was to guide you to using the stones used by some Native American traditiions marking the four directions--Citrine (East), Carnelian (South), Amethyst (West) and White Quartz (North). The grid at our website www.heartofmaui.com came entirely through vision, dream and intuition and I highly reccommend the process of following Intuition, Attentiion and Intention. Guest guest
ReNau, I thought it was pretty interesting that all the stones that presented themselves were dark but it sort of appeals to my esthetic sense. The shaman stone is also called a moqui marble. They are found at the northern rim of the Grand Canyon. They are naturally spherical in shape and are a med dark brown sandstone. It is said that the Moqui childred used them in a game similar to 'marbles' and that they were powerful shamanic talismans. They are used for balancing polarity, they connect one to the earth energies. They are powerfully protective and absorb and transform negative energy. Very good for inner journeys and healing. Stimulate intuition. (on a side note I was recently told by a dealer that the government has closed the area where these stones are found so if you have one hang on to it and if you want one don't put it off. I've already seen the price double in the last 6 months. They are now somewhere between 2 and 4 dollars each but I expect they will get more expensive as time goes on unless the area is opened again) diosa , renaumoon wrote: > > > In a message dated 1/28/2007 12:32:16 PM Eastern Standard Time, > diosad writes: > > I also > picked a smoky quartz, a piece of onyx, one of snowflake obsidian, and > hematite. > > > It is interesting that you are drawn to use dark grounding stones. Guest guest
Skye, Thanks, I checked out her website and it looks interesting. The labyrinth is laid out already (I drew up the plans for it a very long time ago and have just been waiting for the area to be ready) and we placed the grid this afternoon. I'm lucky in that my property is oriented almost exactly east/west so that I could orientate the labyrinth to the equinox without the whole thing upsetting my sense of order. :-) Would have preferred to orient it to the solstice but that didn't sit well with my sense of order. (didn't like where it placed the entrance :-)) All in all I'm happy with the results. The area is practically glowing with energy. I like your choice of stones and if I ever change the grid I think I will use your suggestion. Thanks diosa , Skye Coe <mauiskye1 wrote: > > Aloha Diosa. .
