Guest guest
Hi there, I have been overwhelmed with the level of response I've received in asking for help with my keys and have not had the chance to thank everyone individually. While I have not yet found my keys, I have come to a place of peace about it and have decided to just not worry about it anymore. :-) I have the feeling they are going to come back to me in one way or another and have been talking to angels, and St. Anthony and anyone else who will listen LOL and just let them know I am happy to receive them or any messages about them. It's been a good lesson in realizing that the little things that seem like crises don't have to be that way. I have now duplicated almost all of the keys (my one car key has a microchip in it and has to be ordered from the dealer so am going to wait a few more days first.) and am just letting go of the outcome as to whether they will be found or not found. I have actually looked in my freezer, wondering if they were in there! I once found a bunch of bananas I put in the freezer absent-mindedly hahahaha. I have looked in the obvious places and in crazy places. Weirdest place checked so far was in a bag of birdseed and even inside the bird feeder as I remembered filling the feeder shortly after I remember last seeing the keys. My house is more tidy and organized now than it's ever been so something good has come of this for sure! Thanks so much to everyone for all their help - I'll let you know if they do turn up! And she always found it, too! Whether you believe in saints or not, I think the lesson was learning to let go of the panic, and relax, and retrace your steps. Guest guest
Hi Carol Ann I wonder if your keys fell outside if you were out there filling up the bird feeder and if they did I wonder if a magpie took them off as they like shiny things LOL Just a thought that came to me while I read your post. Guest guest
Do you have a basement? If so, is there a laundry basket? More than one laundry basket? One that you attend to regularly and one not as often?
