Guest guest
>I feel that the harm from alcohol in a tincture is more important >for one with an addiction to the substance to avoid as it triggers >the need and the memory. But in reality there is not enough present >to make a showing. You are correct about the propensity for triggering. Some Alcoholics/Drug Addicts are more sensitive to triggers than others. I was using an Echinacea Extract made with alcohol; 30% by volume, that equals 60 Proof in terms normally used to measure alcohol content in a liqueur, whisky or wine. Beer is usually labeled in terms of percent. I started out using the water to dilute, as instructed, but decided that was too much trouble, so I started just taking the dose straight....... got to REALLY liking it towards the end of the bottle! I haven't used it again, I look for a glycerin or other dilutant brand instead. Even Glycerin is only a step away from Glycerol, another form of alcohol. >I forgot the exact showing but there is atleast around 20 times more >present in the body than an average dose of at any given moment. I would be interested in a follow-up on this statement. > Teaching in the Carribean right at this moment. When I slow down > I will see what an exact amount might be. Hmmmmm.........
