I've used various epoxies with all sorts of stones to make tumble

polished jewelry with the cheap finishes and never had any problems

in general. Sometimes something might come unstuck and I'd just glue

it back in place for the person who had bought it, if they brought it

back to me.

I'd use a quick setting formula if you're just going to do a piece or

two at a time. The main thing is that everything must be squeaky

clean! Always wipe your parts down with a little rubbing alcohol and

dry with a soft cloth. You may then apply the glue, a little to both

pieces, or just to one if they fit well together and then prop

things, or tape them in place until set. When I was mass producing, I

used children's modeling clay spread out on a piece of board that I

had then nailed a picture frame type quarter round molding to.

I imagine that anything too porous, or soft in composition, would not

be a good candidate.

Peace and Love,

Byron
