Guest guest
Dear all Recently, somehow or rather, I realised that combining afew of my stones with my aquamarine wand, the energy blends well and I can connect to it very well. The problem I am facing now is how to join the stones together. For now, I am using golden colour string to tie them together however, no matter how secure i tie them, they tend to fall out of place and the string will give way. Is there anyways that I can stick them together using natural minerals? What should I use to stick them together?

I actually have straight pine sap that is only crystallized on the outside but super sticky on fresh exposed surfaces when pieces are taken off. I am thinking the added energies Pine could give to a crystal would be worth giving it a try. Blessings to your eve. ReNau
Guest guest
Hello- > Is there anyways that I can stick them together using natural minerals? It's a nice natural, non-permanent way to join stones without resorting to glue, which I think is a bad option for a number of reasons. If you need something more sticky there's a beader's material that's a mix of Beeswax and Pine Pitch. I can't call the name - Tacky Wax maybe? - but you should be able to find it online. It's one of the few beading waxes I've found that aren't filled with chemicals and such. Good luck, In Love, Fabeku

You're welcome. > I actually have straight pine sap that is only crystallized on the outside but super sticky on fresh exposed... > The only consideration with this would be whether or not the sap would stain. I know some saps will. Also softer, more porous stones are likely to absorb some of the sap, which will likely be impossible to clean up. On harder stone spirits, like Quartz, the above may not be a problem. With softer, more delicate spirits, care or another option altogether may be needed. Guest guest
hello I have found metal wire helps too, copper or silver it tends to hold the stones in place and add some energy to it as well. I am sure you could use crafting wire as well, it comes in spools. -- Have a Happy and Keep Smiling TTFN Angelina

What should I use to stick them together? >mysticalvillage There is a chemical called Water Glass. It is made of Sodium Silicate and is liquid. It is rather caustic and care must be taken if you try using it, but once it dries, it MAY hold your stones to the wand, but only if everything has flat surfaces. It probably does not have much " Holding Strength " though, and the stones may be bumped off, or whatever. Otherwise Silicon Glue (Aquarium Cement) is the only other thing I could think of, other than Epoxy. Peace and Love, Byron
Guest guest
Thank you so much for the advise. I thought of using beeswax as suggested by fabeku and silver wiring suggested by angeline. Now that Byron mentioned, Epoxy sounds good too. Will Epoxy affect the crystals in any ways? Thank you Damon
Guest guest
Damon- > Will Epoxy affect the crystals in any ways? In my experience epoxy tends to deaden the energy of the stone spirits. Energetically most epoxies I've encountered seem like " sludge " to me. Also they're likely to be permanent and, if not, will usually require a harsh chemical solvent to dissolve. Many epoxies will also discolor the stones. There are other options available that a) don't deaden the energy and b) aren't permanent. Guest guest
Dear Mysticalvillage, Sorry, I am behind on my emails, but did you try wire wrapping them to your wand? I just made myself a wand not to long ago and wire wrapped several different stones to it. It worked out great. Guest guest
I'm currious about this as well, I recently was useing an 8 " rose quartz point in an attemp to re-center myself from some negitive energy; the point broke dead center in my hands, now i am wondering what to do with the pieces...I thought about rejoining them using some bonding agent; but the un-natural glue just does not feel right to me. Any sugestions? best, chris- -- In , VANESSA HUTCHESON <tkdmom4mykids wrote: > > Dear Mysticalvillage, > Sorry, I am behind on my emails, but did you try wire wrapping them to your wand? The reason for copper (my preferred) or sterling silver wire is the conductivity of these two kinds of wire. You cold even do some fancy wrapping that secures the leather but then has the wire actually making contact with the crystal halves themselves ... possibly assisting in keeping the energy flowing more as a *whole* again. Blessings to you week all. ReNau
