Guest guest
Hello everybody, I just had my 3rd child and I am about 30ish pounds overweight and about 40ish pounds over what I would like to be. I am dieting and excersizing and nothing seems to be helping. I have actually gained 5lbs in the last 2 weeks. I am doing cardio, pilaties, yoga, swimming and walking and really restricting what foods i eat. Is there something that I can do to raise my metabolism? Is there a stone or herb that will help me achieve my goals? Please anything will help me at the moment. I would like to be out of my maternity clothes when i go back to work. I dont want to have to buy a whole new wardrobe and if I do I would like it to be smaller clothes. I appreciate all information. Love and light Liz Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
Hi, The best stones for slimming are: Seraphinite (speeds up metabolism), Manganese (black inclusions in Charoite) and Apatite (regulates one's apetite). The best herb for dieting is the Argentinian Yerba Mate - it has 80% more anti-oxidants than Chinese Green Tea. Guest guest
Dear Liz, Keep in mind that as you exersize you are gaining muscle and muscle weighs more then fat. So, what you are probabally gaining is muscle. As far as eating gose make sure you are eating small portions, drinking a couple of glasses of water before eating about a half an hour or so before, and eat things high in protine. Eat plain yogurt because there are a lot of good things in there for general health. Quartz is a good stone for all purposes along with one that may be speaking to you for this purpose. Take the time to meditate and listen to your stones. I hope this helps you. I eat when i my kids eat and they have their 3 meals and 2 snacks and one desert so i do, but i dont think i am eating the right things so i am revamping my diet plan. Thanks for the advice! Does anyone know of a free support group for weight loss? I am short on cash and very hard on my self so i could use support. Guest guest
Dearest Liz Hi I am a new member of several weeks but have not posted until now. Your email touched me and I feel your frustration. There is hope dear sister. I am a Reiki Master/Teacher & Crystal Healing Consultant(and other energy modalilies as well) I come to learn that weight issue is more than just the weight itself but a deeper issue that needs to be healed for the wieght to come off and even more so to stay off. Its alot of work, but speaking as one who did this herself and have helped other women with this issue it is worth every long, frutstrating, tear filled step! I myself lost 25 pounds and still going. I personally lost 8 pounds after the emotional healing took place and that was enough to motivate me to keep going. Healing the emotional issues that caused the weight gain, learning to eat healthy foods, cutting out sugar, dairy, red meat, etc using Stevia instead of sugar, learning to put servings on my plate no larger than my own fist, not eating my last meal no later than 6:00 pm, (that is a challange as my famaily on such different schedules they dont even get home until much later), drink white tea in the morning, (this is a mircle tea with so many health benefits!) exercise, not as much as I did in the beginning but even a walk in the park with you baby 3-4 times a week will have amazing results, I eat about 4 -6 meals a day. Eat what I want, I don't count calories because to me that just negative thinking and at this time you need all posititive motivations and thinking. Again I eat what I want within healthy guildlines and portions. I really like making different types of salad and fruit. Instead of milk we drink what called Rice Dreams. They have milk, ice cream, cheese, etc. We use a all vegan butter for so many years that even during the holidays friends swear I am using milk and real butter. I also do TaiChi and QiKong to relax and keep my chi flow unblocked, and do chakra healing, and meditate. Love my mediation time!!! I will be more than happy to give you links on how you can being healing yourself. Crystal Exlirs are wonderful for loosing weight and no side effects like you often get from diet pills. In my opinion, if you don't want yo-yo weight issues that you get from temporary solutions, be brave take the step to heal the issues. We don't say disease in the energy work field...we say your body is at dis-ease. Healing the physical, emotional, and spiritual issues you can heal yourself and keep it off for good. You'll learn when something sets you off, you have healthy alternatives to tackle the problem and feel empowered. [] There are alot of DVD for working out at home as well. And I will be more than happy to be a support person for you if you like. You can email me privately and I will give you a list of links and books that should keep you busy for awhile *winks* Much love and light to you, ~Des~ , Elizabeth Walker <lizard_mama9 wrote: > > I am eating around 1200 cals a day, but for me thats not to low. Guest guest
Hello Elizabeth From what I have found when you start counting calories is when you start sabotaging yourself. many people have said what I am going to repeat change your meals to every 2-3 hours and smaller portions. If that is harder to do carry some almonds or raw nuts with you. start reading labels corn syrup is a bad one for your body, it makes the kidneys and liver sluggish. do your best to avoid it. another thing to avoid is artificial sweeteners they do not help to lose weight contrary to popular belief and help to cause all sorts of problems, so avoid anything with aspartame (nutra sweet) and sucralose (splenda) diet sodas and other products will actually slow your metabolism. The artificial sweeteners have been proven to even cause depression, as well as help people to gain weight. use natural healthy stuff like stevia which helps regulate blood sugar problems too. my kids like eating the leavs right off the plant. something I found that helped me is to add some good grains into my diet like millet which is high in protein, almonds, lots of fresh fruits and grains. I would also drink a few glasses of fresh fruit juice usually apple, I found this also helped my kids get up and do better during the day. use almond milk instead of reg milk, almond milk actually makes a good sorbet (I personally like peach mmmmmmm). a good stone I like to use is prehnite, it is a great stone for the metabolism it helps to stimulate the metabolism of fat and accelerate the elimination of the toxins stored in it, and stimulates all regeneration processes in the body. prehnite helps the liver, kidneys and pancreas. it is also real calming. remember to be gentle to yourself, you are worth it and deserve to be happy DO not get discouraged remember you just had a baby and you are doing awesome. take it one day at a time, your worth it and don't stress life is too short and your to wonderful. this is a real brief info since so much more has been added I hope all of our information has helped. -- Have a Happy and Keep Smiling TTFN Angelina Thelin
