Guest guest
Hi to everyone.. Can anyone tell me anything about 'Angels Wings' - its Amethyst in the shape of... Angel wings.. I have searched all of my books but although I am aware of the power of Amethyst clusters I have not heard of a specific cluster of this name... Thanks, love and light to you all. I called it my Angel Wing Amethyst. I wrote about my Angel Wing on the huge crystal list I then was on and other people wrote about their amethyst flower formations too. Later a couple of people on that list wrote about Angel Wing Amethyst and now I have seen references to it in one little book ( by a famous author who " co writes " books about almost everything ) which i suspected had quite a few entries that were inspired by posts to that list. I have no idea if the term was used before it was not in any of the books I had at the time and I had not heard it used as a name for a specific formation before I talked about my own angel wing amethyst . I have no idea if I did coin the term or not It may indeed have been in use before without my knowing it . it seems to be a reference to the flower formation amethyst when it takes a wing like form Like my stone. Mine is mostly paler lavender rather than deeply colored I'll look to see if I have a photo of it posted somewhere or not . Guest guest
Hi All, I do not know a lot about Angel Wings. Peggy yours is amazingly beautiful and exceptional. What I do know is this. I have one and believe they come from the Vera Cruz region of Mexico. They are a burr...which means little to no matrix. It is kind of interesting that my photo of amethyst in my oracle has an angel in it. I did not see it at first until my photographer put a light behind it. It is amazing to see with both sides of the wings apparent. When doing classes I show that and it is amazing how real it is. Anyways I looked on line and could not find much about amethyst plates or burrs or angelwings. Looks like our group is ahead of the times.
