ALERT-VIRUS/ re: Warning about New Graphic Site

This PITA is a WORM - not a virus, but the same precautions must be

taken by everyone.

 

1)UPDATE your Anti-Virus program Right Now because those not only

stop viruses, they also stop Worms, Trojans and other nasties.

 

2)If you see an email in your Email InBox having the subject line of:

 

New Graphic Site

 

Delete it without hesitation - do not even bothering to open it......

there are no nasty messages as someone mentioned....

there are actually no messages at all.

Then empty your Trash Can if that is where your deleted messages go

to. If you do open a message having that subject line, then for

goodness sakes **Do Not Click on Any Links or anything that might be

an Attachment**

 

According to the Techie news reports, there should not be any

attachments because the Worm perpetuates itself by exploiting HTML

coding and JavaScript codes to gain access to a computer via links in

the messages when someone clicks on the links.

 

3) What this WORM is doing is Exploiting, Harvesting and Using email

addresses it finds in computers of people who receive messages from

.com senders or list messages from Groups.com.

Those of you who are receiving the new *Full Feature* email setting

might want to consider switching to the Traditional email setting

(change in the Edit Membership section) till this thing runs it's

course.

 

Remember also - do not blame the people whose names you see on

the " wormy " emails; they are not sending those messages.

I have received this email , it has an attachment DON " T open it delete it

this is the email route that was shown was , I don't know if this helps for

someone to clean up their PC or not, there it is anyway.
