Desperately need Protection and Magick

I have never asked for help before and have been a lurker , I feel

awkward but I am desperate and really need some help. I have been

living with a man for about 7 years...he was in prison and very

abused and broken when I met him. I have always rescued wounded

animals and people. DUH! At first he showed signs of wanting help

and change, but recently...the last 2 years he has become very

distant and cruel. Usually he does not speak....when he does it's

negative and mean. I have tried several times to talk to him and he

just gets mad, so I back off. I am putting in out to the universe

that he needs to go some where else. I do not want to do a spell to

make him leave because of the repercussions of effecting anothers

will. I am really afraid of him. I have not told him I want him to

leave, I have just said I can't live this way any more and I need

him to try and get some help. He gets really mad then. Everything

we have is in my name ...except the car I drive...I know I can get

that title changed over pretty easily. I am sorry to be going on

like this, but this is a really scary situation. Financially I am

not sure I can stay in my rental home alone...I think I can if I

really cut back. I am scared that he will hurt me or my

children...they are all grown and don't live with me, but they have

threatened him before when he got abusive.(only verbally). The

reason he was in prison was because he hit a woman he was living

with...(not the first time) and felonious restraint...(he would not

let her leave)...she pressed charges and he spent 3 years in prison.

I had a restraining order on him at first, when he pushed me and I

found out then that he has been abusing people for a long time...the

Magistrate said " have you seen his rap sheet? Are you crazy? " He

threatened to kill her because of that He has threatened me as

well, but says he won't go back to prison because of any woman...so

he has done me a favor staying her and helping with the rent...that

something to get him out or leave yourself. I would set up a grid if I were you

with stones that change negitive into positive and those that ward off negitive

all together. Also the stones that protect you from these things. To name a few

you should use are as fallows:

Jet, Black Obsidian, Fire Agate, Clear Quartz, Mohogany obsidian,

Smokey Quartz, Amethyst, Turquoise, Ruby, Apache Tear, Salt, Vanadinite,

Cheveron Amethyst, Sodalite, Tiger Eye, and Charoite. These are just a few

stones that I recomend for starters. Make sure you do meditation and listen to

the inner self and spirit guides. Do what you are told and exactly how you are

told to do it. This will help you greatly. But you need him to go or you need to

go without him knowing where you have gone. This is very important for you or it

could be your life that is taken from you. Please be very careful. You are

dealing with someone who is very violent and has potential to kill.

my advice, you need to leave the situation ASAP, if that includes restraining

Hi Debby...I am so sorry you are going through this at this time in

your life...it would be so nice if nobody would have to deal with

this kind of stuff....but I would just like to give you a different

approach to your issues...as I would have to agree with the others

to find a way to change your situation as soon as possible...I also

firmly believe that nothing happens without a reason and with

everything in our lives there are lessons to be learned...and before

you can change a situation and have it be a perminate one there

needs to be a lessoned learned...and before you learn that lesson

and accept the lesson on what ever level that is....you may not be

able to change your situation in a timely manor...ask

yourself...your higher power within...in a meditation...asking what

the lesson to be learned is and trust and listen to your higher

power within...you need to be specific and trust the answers from

within...when we are given situations such as this it is so easy to

want an easy fix and run...but what we really need to do is face it

and accept what the situation brings to you on your path to a higher

level of spirituality...and learn the lesson to be learned...I have

found that after a meditation and listening to my higher self and

learning the lessons to be learned is to write them down...in a

journal maybe...keep a journal of lessons learned...you'd be

surprised and what the lessons to be learned are...sometimes they

are as simple as...learning to love yourself and accept the person

you are...I find when I am connecting to my higher power I use

purple...I use an amethyst on my 6th chakra...the third eye...which

is a connection to the higher power within...it is a stone that

helps with this connection...I also use rose quartz a lot as I like

it for it's soothing effect and helping to see things with love in

your heart and soul...if you approach a situation with love in your

heart and soul it is easier to find a solution within...Anyway...I

just wanted to give my 2 cents on this discussion....good

Blessings to all of you wonderful folks who have responded. All is

calm right now...I am taking it slow and easy...not letting on that

I have a plan...just acting like nothing is wrong...I have an

appointment with an abuse councelor today so I can get some advice

on how I should proceed. Trying so hard to work through the fear of

the whole process...I am so non-confrontational I get nauseated just

thinking about proceeding, but each e-mail and response I get helps

me feel stronger and more impowered...thank you all so very much.

dear I want you to remember something, you do not have to save the world.

you are a wonderfull person and deserve all the blessings, love and light

this life can offer. you do not have to put up with emotional/mental abuse,

or physical abuse. Anyone who you may have in your life that may say other

wise is an abuser, and it is not your fault. Remember you have a path in

life and so does he, just because he has chosen a path of abuse towards

other, doesnt mean you have to follow it or put up with his abuse.

 

You are following the right path, remeber you do not have to save the world

to make it to a higher path. some rescues require someone else to work on

them, and I believe he is not one you should work with. You are worth so

much more than he is willing to offer and he is not doing you a favor you

were doing him the favor.

Your right...I have been unfair to my soul and spirit not be

stronger a long time ago. I just got him to sign the title to the

Well Derrell's tourchered soul and the Goddess have taken things

into their hands and Saturday Derrell fell from a 2 story roof. ( He

was a roofer by trade) He landed on his head and has damaged his

stem cell, and most of his brain...He is brain dead, and still on

life support. I don't know who made the call...but they are keeping

him on for a few more days...He is not there, I have been with him

most of the last 2 days and at one point his fever shot to 113...and

his blood pressure was 173 the low one...I did some reiki, and

energy work to help his body calm down. When I left his temp was

99.3 and his blood pressure was 117. I pray to the Goddess that his

crossing be peaceful and joyful. I am still in shock and can't stop

crying...I felt so sorry for him and I was so afraid of him at the

same time...he will finally have peace and not be afraid any more.

As we witches all know anger and almost all negative emotions stem

from fear. I know that I will be better soon, but right now I am

just a basket case...Please send me calming energies . He was

pronounced dead last night at 11:32PM and they waited until this

morning when we were all there to unhook him from the machines.

Thank you all for everything...it's finally over...but ending in

such a tramatic fashion has just thrown me for a loop.

I have worked with both abused women and children and as a mentor for a

families extricating themselves from drug related issues, so will share the

following with love. .

 

Number 1 and this is VERY important. If you are in physical danger or see it

as likely leave where you are. Sounds easy, but it may be the most difficult

step you take. Contact a local women's safe shelter. If one is not listed in

phone book, call the local emergency or police number. If you've been putting

up with this for a long time, you may want to let yourself think that things

will be better tomorrow. Not so. You can already see the signs and you owe it

to yourself and children to act now. Ask for the help of someone you trust to

gather what little you need and go as discreetly as possible. Announcing your

intentions to your partner will only complicate things.

 

Number 2 Remind yourself that the issue is not about changing the abusive

partner, it is about moving yourself to a safe place and creating the life that

you want and deserve. Abusive partners have a tendency to hook us into

believing we are responsible for their behavior and that only we can help them.

There are legal protections and issues that are complicated to deal with and

those those operating the safe shelters are experienced with such and will guide

you through everything necessary to make a change. Do it now, don't wait.

 

Number 3. Forgive yourself for any part you feel you've played in creating

this drama. You created a lesson and that's what we're here to do-honor the

lessons we've chosen to walk through in this lifetime. We have all been in

situations we've created that take an incredible amount of intent to change.

You'll have your turn to give back at some point so don't hesitate in asking for

help.

 

Number 4. Most women stay in abusive relationships for financial reasons.

Even if you only have the shirt on your back leave. The change will be drastic

but everything will fall into place within a number of weeks and you will wonder

why, oh why, you ever put up with the abuse for so long.

 

Number 5. Everyone reading this is cheering for you. YOU GO GIRL!

 

 

If you work with the crystal beings find a piece of Rose Quartz. Ask it in

assisting you in opening your heart to receiving love. Wear it, carry it, sleep

with it. If you don't have a piece close by, ask for it's presence to come to

you and work with you. If you want to contact me directly I will send a piece

Black Tourmaline and Golden Tiger's Eye are often used for personal

protection. Allow your intuition to guide you in how to use them.

 

Citrine is wonderful in transmuting energy from negative to positive. I

sometimes wear a piece near the solar plexus area. I also like to keep a piece

visible to remind me of our connection to the sun and other galaxies.

 

For some reason, I'm being guided to mention Green and Peach Aventurine,

Serpentine (a form of Jade), Blue Lace Agate and Angelite and Aquamarine. Just

remember that there is no right or wrong stone. Using the guideline--Intuition,

Attention and Intention will offer everything you need. If a stone is not

available simply ask for it's presence and guidance.

 

We're all rooting for you. Respond when you are able, but don't do so at the

expense of moving to a safe place.
