hello

 

i bought a platonic solid set in rose quartz. how do

i use them? i have merkaba s and know how to use

them. the energy is different for each shape. can

someone guide me in this?

Sorry, your post seemed to have gotten lost . Other than the Pyramid I

have not had experience actually working with the forms. It is on my my

wish list to get a set of the crystals but so far they have not come

into my life. I know that Platonic solids are often meditated upon/

with . I have worked with the merkaba and sphere but not in depth with

Platonic solids . I did find some old rough notes but do not have

source information these were probably assembled from several

different sources.

 

Platonic solids are perfectly regular solids with the following

conditions: all sides are equal and all angles are the same and all

faces are identical. In each corner of such a solid the same number of

surfaces collide. Only five Platonic solids exist: tetrahedron,

hexahedron, octahedron, dodecahedron and icosahedrons.

The solids and their regularities were discovered by the Pythagoreans

and were called originally Pythagorean solids. The Greek philosopher

Plato described the solids in detail later in his book " Timaeus " and

assigned the items to the Platonic conception of the world, hence today

they are well-known under the name " Platonic Solids. "

 

The Platonic Solids are the repeating geometric patterns that are the

basic building blocks of life. All of life as we know it is composed of

these geometric structures: our physical bodies, cells, DNA, plants,

animals, minerals, planets, solar systems, stars, galaxies and

Universes, the microcosm and macrocosm are endlessly repeating these

archetypal patterns.

 

These geometries are the " language " of creation which exists at the

foundation of all life. They are a blueprint of the sequence of

movements that Divine Spirit makes as it descends from pure Source

Energy into matter, creating the microcosm and macrocosm of universes,

and ultimately our physical world.

: The colors associated with for the platonic forms do not correspond

to the colors usually associated with the Chakras. They refer to the

colors of the Great Rays, which are different than the chakras.

 

For Plato the pyramid corresponds to fire, the cube to the earth, the

octahedron to the air, the icosahedron (20 faces) to the water, and the

dodecahedron to the universe.

 

Octahedron: Eight Paths to Enlightenment Octahedron: Element is Air,

Heart Chakra

Key Function: Integration Honor (Hod) 8 triangular faces, 6 vertices, 12

edges Use for Spiritual Enlightenment. Associated with the Heart, Color

Yellow, & Air Element integrates all aspects of our energies, our

being, our self. Peace is found here. The octahedron is bounded by eight

equilateral triangles. It rotates freely when held by two opposite

vertices .

 

Tetrahedron: Creation and Manifestation, Tetrahedron: Element is Fire

,Solar Plexus Chakra ,Key Function: Manifestation, Understanding (Binah)

4 triangular faces, 4 vertices, 6 edges Use for Manifestation &

Creation. Associated with the Solar Plexus, Color Red & Fire Element

Focus here to manifest health and internal power of self. The

tetrahedron is bounded by four equilateral triangles. It has the

smallest volume for its surface and represents the property of dryness.

 

Cube, Hexahedron: Grounding Creation Cube: Element is Earth, Root

Chakra Key Function: Grounding

Very good for grounding, for manifesting in the four directions (the

physical plane). Aids in clarifying one's purpose. All physical

conditions related to organs near the Root Chakra. Cube Strength

(Geburah) 6 square faces, 8 vertices, & 12 edges. Use for Grounding,

is bounded by twenty equilateral triangles. It has the largest volume

for its surface area and represents the property of wetness.

 

The Law of Resonance states that everything in the universe is energy or

vibration, and when a strong field of vibration is introduced to a

weaker or chaotic field of vibration, the weaker/chaotic one will change

its frequency to match that of the stronger/organized one.

 

When the strong energy field of these crystal archetypal patterns of

creation are utilized with focused intention they can access, align

and restore to harmony any area of weakened, chaotic energy. This

applies to restoration of harmony in either a body/mind/spirit energy

field or an environment of " inanimate objects " , such as your home or
